@Advent - Oh haha, well you can count me in for that too I guess then, I've been doing video editing for four years =P.

 

Well it's just to mess around with for now, we're doing a cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. You can play anything really, we'll probably layer a lot of different instruments. I'm going to play the piano to it later, so maybe you could do it instead of me if you'd like, or maybe play your keyboard, get a nice pad going. There's bound to be sheet music around somewhere you can work off of. I actually have an idea, you could play the violin instead of the vocals at this part if you'd like...

@Advent - I'm pretty sure that my timezone is GMT -4 since I know I'm ahead of everybody in the Eastern Standard Time by one hour. You can also put me down for synths. I'm also about to take up some drum lessons so I might be able to do some drums later on but not right now.

 

@The Fuk? - I might be able to do that violin part that you mentioned if Stardust can't do it. It fits pretty well too. I'll try seeing how it works out with other instruments as well(mostly strings).

Recorded this extremely quickly with the mic hooked up to my computer, it's a positively awful mic but don't worry when I record stuff that's SERIOUS BUSINESS I'll be sure to use my amp and professional mic instead

Tuning issues won't be as much of an issue with an electric but see, we still have to have it shipped here.

 

@Stardust - Unfortunately, I don't play the violin. I just offered because I have some synths in Fruity Loops. You can still do the violin part that The Fuk? mentioned if you like. I also checked out the violin and flute demo. Pretty good stuff and the only problem I had with it was the quality but that's understandable since you're using a computer mic.

Also I wanted to know. Since this band is being founded on a KH forum, why don't we do a cover of a Kingdom Hearts song(like Scherzo Di Notte or the 13th Struggle)? Maybe we can add some vocals to it.

 

@GS: I actually thought that that's what we were doing at first. Sounds like a good idea, I'm sure there's something out of at least one of the games that we could do.

@Stardust: Sounds good, and of course it'll sound better with a better mic.

 

Nonetheless I'm still doing my own remix of Scherzo Di Notte(anybody have any suggestions?) but I wanted to know what everybody else thought since I like the idea.

 

=P thats cool...only reason i dislike the idea is due to the lack of vocals...but =P its fine i was just being selfish...i was just all up in the idea of making originals and trying to stay away from covers =P

I know we're doing the cover of BOBD but KH song idea was just something that I threw out there. I have no clue if we're going to do it anytime soon. Anybody have updates on how they're doing?
