You literally defended me doing this earlier this week in another thread. I was as the people say, exaggerating. No, I don't think you're trying to be the three time world champion hugboxer. But yes, I think what you said was hypocritical and no it wasn't just what you said to hatok. It's what you say in general. That's really all there is to it.

 

Here is the problem, not just with this thread but most in the spamzone. Life isn't a "who can be right more often" contest. If you would all just chill out there would be a lot less stress, tension, AND LESS PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE BS COMMENTS around here.

And if you have self esteem problems that bad, might I direct you (you meaning whomever leads the charge in the "I am right parade") to the proper section.

3. In general? I need specifics. But you should be aware, the fact that I have a short fuse and promote niceness makes me a walking contradiction. I'm a human seeing how I personally think things in a place I like could be better and trying to make them better but sometimes, boy, I just human it up and falter. I falter all over the place when trying to be a representation for my beliefs because, yeah, it's haaaard. It's hard to never get angry when someone's being a shit. It's hard to not use a word that is fine on its own and then send people into an uproar because they mistook what you were trying to say because in actuality it was just a bad joke- not offensive, not even a rape joke, just a poorly typed and worded joke.

 

but what you don't understand is that i am, by default, always right and am therefore justified in everything i say.
the sooner you people realize this, the better.

 

I feel bad for you, the fact that you are either that much of a sadist, or that you need to be right. If you ever need any help or someone to talk to there are plenty of people on this site who are willing to listen, myself included.

Here's the thing though.. I'm being called out for being a hypocrite and met it with hysterical laughing. If you actually want me to feel like a hypocrite, then call me on it with words you mean. I'm not upset at any of this (in fact, Hatok seeing me as this big bully he needs to overthrow is STILL HILARIOUS, especially when my best friend is his mancrush. DUDE REALLY THAT'S A STORY FOR A TEEN DRAMA IF I EVER HEARD IT). At least not yet, so it's a good time to do it with words you mean and not heavy exaggerations.

I get that, but people have to judge their own comments otherwise you'll always be upsetting people at random and not taking measures to avoid it. In the end, here's what happened: I wrote a bad joke using the word rape. Hatok tried to catch me in a moment where I'm a hypocrite. I went back and read it and there's a reason he had this opportunity- the way I worded it gave it to him. The wording put rape near the end and made it stand out as the reveal/punch-line while the actual reason the joke was meant to be funny was hidden away behind the two sentences. so, in my eyes, we're arguing over shit-tier humor on my end. You can try to play it up as a hypocrisy, but I'm always trying to grow from criticism and make subtle changes in my behaviors (notice I use emotes on here now instead of just on skype so I can stop getting warned...) because I believe you can't just take all criticism- some of it can be coming from the wrong place. I believe Hatok's is coming from some "son training to kill his parents' killers" type movie moment and I think he's wrong. He should be criticizing how I used the word, and not just that I used the word. The double fault here is that I could've did the same in the thread he took what I said from.

I mean, it ain't my goal to upset nobody. I just feel like people shouldn't contradict themselves. You have actually said before that you are a walking set of contradictions and don't apparently feel like there's anything wrong with that. I think that's, to borrow someone else's philosophy, complacent. It's one of those things I just don't like about people. You should be as self consistent as possible because that's where you find what you really want yourself to be and what you really care about. So just keep it in mind.

You know what... I was going to respond saying some crap, but there was no way I could word it that didn't come off like I was disregarding what you said and this came from a good place, so I'll just say: Aye. Trust me, I'm working on it.
