The Night Shift

"Be thankful I had the dignity to block it otherwise you wouldn't have anything left to burry", Kain said harshly as he headed into the sanctuary to wait for others to come.

 

She pulled her face down, feeling the tears fill up her eyes... She tried holding them back, but could feel them continuously fall down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry..." she repeated.

 

Kain sat down on his stone built chair that belonged to the head of the new night shift although Kain was the first creator he wasn't the leader of this generation due to his strength. It was Morbius who was the leader, the oldest vampire who would soon show himself.

 

Abbie blinked, feeling her eye sight come back. She felt rage and heartbroken... She'd never be accepted by Kain, but the rage in her heart made her want to go after the one who hurt Kain. She turned and walked away from the sanctuary... Kain would be fine hopefully, but as long as she didn't say anything, he wouldn't know... She walked back to the place where Kain and her ran from the Paladin, wanting to face him...

 

"Marcus, I want you to find those vampires I faced", Khaos commaned as he walked over and towered before his vampire servant Marcus.

"Yes, lord", Marcus said bowing, he hated this. He was treated like a tool but he could do nothing against it. Marcus headed on towards the square where the Paladin lord, Kain and Abbie where.

 

When she arrived, the place was empty, she sighed and sat on a crate she didn't destroy. She sat against the wall on the crate, then heard someone coming down the way. She looked down to street, seeing a different person she hadn't saw... She sighed in frustration... she wanted to fight the other guy...

 

Marcus saw Abbie ahead, I didn't think anyone was stupid enough to come back here, unless its to attempt to fight Khaos. Marcus began laughing from his thoughts as he walked over to Abbie, "Let me guess your looking for the paladin lord?", he asked between laughter.

 

"If i say yes, will you stop that ignorant laughing?" she asked, crosing her arms after jumping down off the crate.

 

"I'd only laugh harder until I killed you", Marcus continued slowing down his laughing to a stop and drawing his sword.

 

She raised an eyebrow.
"You talk pretty big for an errand boy," she said, drawing her sais blades.

 

Marcus' face turned sour, "I'm no errand boy, i'm the executioner", he stated preparing his blade for attack. "You where with Gabriel, so you must know who I am?", He asked.

 

"Pfft.. like I said... Errand boy... I don't know this.. Gabriel and no, I don't know you..." she said, the crates behind her lifting up in the air. Her mind was out of control again, and she was getting somewhat frightened.

 

"How can you not know Gabriel? He was stood next to you, besides it seems like he's forgotten to mention us", Marcus said watching the crates with caution. His eyes began to glow a darker red than Kain's.

 

"You must be talking about Kain... and no, he didn't mention an flimsy errand boy, and hot headed paladin..." she said, the crates starting to shake. She could feel more glass break from the windows behind her.

 

"I believe you misunderstood, when I said us I meant Gabriel's former army", Marcus grinned and laughed a manicly. "I'll show you the strength Kain used to know", he mocked before striking at Abbie with his sword.

 

She jumped back, trying to dodge the sword, but felt it graze across her skin. She made a face, but tried not to make it look like he hurt her.
"That all you got?" she asked, looking at her wound. She breathed out and in quickly, twitching at the wound.

 

"Nope", he said appearing to of run behind her in that instant. He stuck down at her with his sword again although his movements where more than twice as fast as a vampire should be able to move, this was because of his berserk powers.

 

She pushed herself away with her telekinesis. She pushed herself off the ground and slightly into the air a few feet off the ground. She chuckled and motioned around her hands. She could remember bits and pieces of her past now... She knew some sorts of martial arts. Her hands were motioned in a way to keep the telekinesis on her side.

 

Marcus watched Abbie carefully. He raised his sword to the side of him as his eyes glowed red. A red glow stretched from his hand onto his sword, he was using fury on the sword to increase its damage. Now ready to attack he waited for his chance.

 

Abbie moved swiftly through the air, holding onto her blades. She was frightened to be fighting him. She felt a blue glow around her body, where she used telekinesis. She released her blades, moving them through the air with her power, slashing them at him, while she inched farther away.
