The Night Shift

OOC: Er... We're in a massive city, there are no caves

 

Abbie used her hands in front of her, and pushed him up more. She left him too close to her though.
"Now.. stay away..." she hissed. Joseph chuckled, and swung his sword, cutting her neck, but not deep enough. Abbie cried out, dropping him and grabbing the cut on her neck now. Joseph kicked her down to the ground, and took off down the city streets.

 

Kain reappeared from the mist. He helped Abbie up and looked at he injury, "You should get a drink", He said looking around for a random peseant.

 

"Why do you care all of a sudden?" she asked, her voice crakly somewhat.

 

Kain smirked, "I could make good use of someone with your talents", Kain said pushing her towards a peseant directly infront of her, "Now feed and regain your strength", he commanded.

 

Abbie looked at Kain and shook her head. She swiftly grabbed the peasant and broke their neck. She then sank her teeth into their neck, feeding quickly.

 

Kain looked behind him and then to both left and right of the place they where standing at. He had a feeling something had gone wrong, it would explain the missing vampires.

 

Abbie threw the body down carelessly. She looked up at Kain...
"Who are you exactly?" she asked.

 

"A visage from the past", Kain said turning to face Abbie, "You will know me by Kain", he stated in his old fashioned way of speaking.

 

She fluffed around her curly hair and looked at him, cocking her head.
"Kain... Nice name... I'm Abbie..." she said.

 

"So you said", Kain said folding his arms and closing his eyes to think, I should of encountered one of the others by now, unless. He opened his eyes, "I have something I must do, you can come with me if you wish", he said as he started walking down the road.

 

"Something up?" she asked, following him.

 

"I would of expected another Night Shift member to run into us by now, I suspect something has happened", Kain said as he continued down the road picking up the scents of mixed blood.

 

Abbie could smell the mix of blood also. It alerted her and she cried out, waving her hands and busting a few crates against a wall, with her telekinsis.
"Oops..." she softly said, quickly picking up the pave.

 

Kain turned around the corner dodging one of the crates as it flew passed him. He continued onwards to find multiple bodies ripped to shreds on the floor, "I thought so", Kain mummbled looking at the corpses, The paladins got them.

 

Abbie stayed behind slightly, unable to yet see the bodies. The mixes of blood ran through her head. She took another step, afraid to see what was up there.

 

Kain looked at Abbie, "Are you able to see this?", He asked.

 

"Am I able to see.....?" she starteto ask, then took a few steps closer, seeing the fallen Night Shift members. She was startled and she clenched her hands before they trembled. Her face molded into pure horror.

 

Khaos walked down the road infront of Kain and Abbie, he had killed them all. "Haven't I killed you before?", he asked Kain, "What was your name again, Gabriel?".

"Your mistaking me for someone else, my name is Kain", Kain said looking angered. From the corner of his eye he could see Abbie trembling from the gory sight.

 

She looked at the Paladin who had appeared she gasped somewhat and took a step back. Her reflexes had picked up a crate and threw it at him, using her mind... Her mind felt tainted at the moment though.
