The Night Shift

Abbie walked into a building. Her senses told her that it was a market place. She sighed, and walked out, smelling the scent of many humans... But she did smell a different type of scent. Not human, but not vampire... She decided to walk off down the street

Joseph stood at the corner, right next to the market, looking around. Most of the citizens looked suspicious, but he couldn't find the right person, until he saw Abbie's face. An alarm went off in his head. That was the person he was looking for. He started following her.

Max found herself lost, once again, in a city. She didn't bother asking for directions. Instead, she merely started walking around.

 

Jacob left when he realized the man knew nothing. He was walking through the alleys by some old building and then he sees an vampire"ello my fellow blood addict" he said to her with a smile.

 

Abbie got the feeling someone was following her. She walked a little faster and turned a corner. She could hear the foosteps following her. She grabbed her blade and turned around, holding out her blade.
"Identify yourself," she commanded.

Joseph chuckled when she pulled out her blade. He moved to the side, seeing that she still held her blade in the same place. he looked at her clouded eyes. She was blind. Great advantage for him.
He ran behind her and whispered in her ear.
"Your worst nightmare." He then wrapped his arm around her neck and started choking her.

 

Kain failed to find the others, but where blood marked the walls a smell of a Paladin was near. He followed the trail of blood until the smell took over. After stalking the scent for a short distance he came upon a Paladin strangling the blind girl from before. He watched, awaiting to see if she could escape on her own. If not he would add a Paladin to his ever growing menu.

Khaos stood on his fortress walls, watching the upperclass fool scurry about below his feet. He was seen as their overlord, their king. Although he was much more. He adorded regular humans, his powers where what started the paladin order.

 

Abbie couldn't breath. She saw felt the presence of the guy from earlier around. She didn't ask for his help. She didn't want to be pitied... but the way his presence felt, he wouldn't help her anyways. She coughed out, taking her blade and scratching his arm with it. She pushed him, off, taking a big gasping breath. She held onto her throat.

Joseph saw another vampire appear after he held onto his arm. He pulled out his katana and held it...
"I am only here to kill this vampire," he announced, pointing his katana at Abbie.

 

Kain stood still, he watched the two of them. "Girl, would you like me to keep this meal frosted for you?", he asked Abbie with old fashioned sass, his age was showing through his voice, accent and wording.

Khoas smelt the air, "Alot of vampires", he thought out loud. He looked for the closest one. He turned to one of his guards, "Send Marcus", he mummered as his voice echoed through his armour.

 

"I have a name.... Abbie... and what do you mean frosted? I've never met this guy before..." she said. She pointed her face at him, and her vision slowly came back to. She could see again. She blinked her eyes, and her vision still stood.
"I can see..." she said gasping..

"So... you don't remember me... What a bunch of lies!" he shouted, swinging his katana at her.

BIC: "I meant i'd keep him as a drink for yourself later", Kain said cracking his knuckles as his eyes glowed red.

 

Abbie dodgelooked at him and raised an eyebrow
"No.. it's okay.... But if you want to, go for it..." she said...

Joseph breathed quickly, then swung his katana at both of them.

 

Kain saw mist in the corner of his eye. He stepped into it and disappeared. He reappeared behind the Paladin enemy grabbing him by his shoulder, "You chose the wrong night to take vengeance, don't act dumb thats all you humans want these days", he said tightening his grip, within a minute he would be able to break his bones. His eyes where still red.

Marcus was sent into the streets, he sought other vampires to kill. First he would feed. He ran into the streets and took a peasant into an alley and drank his fill. He took back off into the streets, he smelt multiple vampires and others. A male and a female that way, with a paladin. Yet another male and female that way. He headed towards the ones not with a paladin, Lyra and Jacob.

 

Joseph could barely feel his hand on his shoulder, what with the armor on under his clothes.
"Wrong night for vengeance? It was a wrong night for that murderer to kill my family. Nothing happens the way you want it to... so why should I let it go the way she wants it... Back off, this doesn't include you..." he hissed, pushing him away from his shoulder. He looked back at Abbie.
"Abbie is it? That's what i was to name my daughter, before you killed my wife..." he said, then hurled his katana at her again.

Abbie looked around and jumped up, dodging his blade. She got her blades out and ran at him, swishing her blades at him only to be blocked. Her memories started fading back.
"I remember you now, paladin... Your wife was absolutely mouth-watering," she hissed in a low tone, cackling somewhat evily.

 

Kain faded back into the mist. He kept himself hidden to observe, he wanted to learn how the Paladins' fight even if they are vengeful. His strength was not great enough to penatrate his armour and he couldn't fully control his abilities yet. He was still just as weak as the others until his body regained itself.

Marcus continued his movement towards the vampires but he was stopped by the scent of two humans, one paladin. He couldn't recognise them and it would be troublesome if they where to intervine not knowing that Marcus worked for them and not against them.

 

Abbie and Joseph began their fight. Each was swinging their blade, and each dodged or blocked using their own weapon. Joseph began to notice a pattern, so at his next swing, he kicked her stomach and pushed her down. He brought up his katana and brought it straight down at her.

Abbie, twisted the blades in her hand and made an 'X', to block the katana. It took most of her strength.

 

Max sighed. This place was too over crowded for her, the busy crowds just keep chatting and chatting. Plus, she felt like everyone was staring at her.

 

OOC: Theres no cars, this is like medieval times.

BIC: Marcus continued to head towards the two unnoticed vampires. He was sure he could take them both.

 

Lyra looked to her left at Jacob hesistated for a moment, unsure if he was a paladin or fellow Vampire. "hello..." She answered, taking a step forward.
