The new Xbox dashboard

So what do you guys think of it? I just got it, all I have to say is "meh" I'll get use to it.

 

I've yet to get it, and I don't want to change the dashboard, since the current(oh wait, old) one is great as is.
It's mainly for Kinect suff and what not, which I don't have and don't really care about.

How's it for you?

 

If only they'd devote all the time they spend making a new dashboard to making a console that doesn't fail all the time. :'3

 

Its ok, I mean its apps that they announced for it are good at that, but really I have to agree with you. Its just Microsoft saying "BUT KINECT NOW BUY IT BUUUUUUUUUUUY IIIIIIIIIIT!" which I plan on never doing. And also if you wanna stay on Xbox live, you gotta download it, so really I had no choice. Its not bad but its not great, but I say that about every dashboard they release, I'll get use to it, but for now, meh.

Please no console arguments in this thread, I know that KHV is full of PS3 fans but still, some of us do enjoy Xbox here.

 

Are there any images of the new dashboard? I want to know what I have to kill Microsoft for 'look forward to' after Christmas.

Seriously, could they have made the thing any more dull? Once I got used to the current dashboard I liked it. This? No.

 

Don't worry, the same thing will happen again, you'll get use to this one, and than next E3 Microsofts just going to announce an even more dull dashboard, all it is is just one screen, not moving, just one big square organized theme.

 

It's not bad at all. People are just whining because it's new. Microsoft didn't make a new dashboard to make it go slower, do you think? I am certain this will turn out to be time saving.

 

I think we all complain about something new IE: Youtube, Facebook, Google, etc. etc. But being the hypocrites that humans are, we'll just get use to it and than we'll just complain once a new layout arrives.

 

Actually, my OCD just makes it really painful when a new 'style' for something comes out. Yes, I'll get used to the new dashboard, but that doesn't mean I'll like it.

 

At least Xbox games fit their console. PS3 games are better as games, but they don't fit the PS3. I dunno, it's weird to explain.

 

A new dashboard isn't going to make a ****** console any better.

 

PS3=Better Console
360=Better Games

I don't really give a **** on how it looks, but I can say I like it more than the last one. It's more.....more.

The Xbox 360 has Alan Wake, Halo, Gears of War and um... Forza?

PS3 has Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, 3D Dot Heroes, Resistance, Tales of Xillia, Sly Cooper, Infamous, and the list goes on. So yeah.

 

Ok that's it, guys, don't be 5 year old's. Arguing about which console is better is stupid and always was pointless, everyone has a different opinion. Each console has its ups and downs, nothing is perfect, drop it now!
