Has anyone seen the new transformers cartoon that's (so I assume) is base of the movie, I've only seen one ad for it on TV and I was like 'WTF have the done to transformers!?' since they made it so they have lips that move, sure I don't mind remake but I really didn't like what I saw in that ad, the two older venisons of transformers were cool but the new one looks horrible, does anyone else agree?
It is NOT based on the movie. When I heard what they were doing to TF last year when this series was first announced, I decided to not even give "Transformers Heroes" a chance. They made Soundwave into a Scion and Laserbeak into a guitar. Thus my hate for Cartoonnetwork was amplified. It's not anime, by the way. Japan had nothing to do with this 'masterpiece'. Yes, the last three TF series were from Japan (Armada; the last good one, Energon, Cybertron), but this one is purely American animation. *facedesk* Anyway, the next movie is scheduled for June 2009. Hopefully this new crap doesn't completely destroy the TF universe for everyone.
I saw the advert for this and looked at my Transformers DVD case. I hugged it as i rocked myself in a corner. The show looks terrible. How could they do that to Transformers? It's inhumane. I don't plan on watchin' it...unless i'm seriously bored and in need of some lulz.
It's not worth it Kitty. I tried to watch it, and part of me died. D= I don't understand why CN feels the need to destroy a great thing like Transformers. It's survived this long without anything really stupid happening, and now you can almost predict the plot. For example, I didn't see Optimus's death in the original movie coming, and I cried. >_> And what's with humans having a fairly big? Screw that, BRING THE ROBOTS. Though the movies have a little more leeway with humans and the plot, since they tend to not be based on Cybetron. But yes, Transformers Animated is the ultimate failure so far. I don't think TF was ever anime, since it was created in America. Even if it was animated in Japan, it is an American cartoon. I might be wrong, though. *goes to check*

It's not anime. It's horrible American cartoon crap. Please don't confuse the two, even though Cartoonnetwork does a great job at destroying all great anime series with editing and choosing the most inappropriate voice actors. It does air, and it's the Dora the Explorer of CN. Stupid b******s.

Yet another show I wish to set on fire... Actually, the theme is rather decent (barely), all things considered, but not by much. It definitely beats the Transformers: Robots in Disguise theme Fox aired around...I think '98. The stories aren't too shabby (Yes, they need much work, but, sadly, I've seen worse). It's the animation that makes me cringe the most. It's one of those series where I know a ten year old can draw better...perhaps that's how we can improve the show! Get a ten year old to draw these things! A bit off-topic, but do we know what the '09 movie is about yet?

DDDDx Yes...I'll call my cousin and see if she's interested in drawing a better Transformers series. xD And the theme is from the original 1980s series but "modernized". No...and if anything's leaked, it's probably not real. Though I have heard that there's gonna be an aircraft carrier, which may mean it's Tidal Wave (from Armada...the last good series). On a random note, filming for it starts on my birthday. xDD
