As many of you may know, our Video Portal has not been offering the best of services as of late. The staff have long discussed replacing it, but have struggled to find the best solution. Today we're proud to announce our new Video Portal!

You can reach it by clicking the 'Video Portal' tab on the navigation bar underneath the banner, or by simply clicking HERE.

Features:

• Video Submission: Video Submission now can only be done via links to the video hosted elsewhere (the option to upload directly from your machine does not currently exist, unfortunately). On the bar underneath the main navigation, there is the 'Submit Media' button.

  From there, you can enter the link to the video, and edit the information that will appear on our Video Portal.
  Currently, we support videos from DailyMotion, Megavideo, Metacafe, uStream, Veoh, Vimeo, and most of all, YouTube!
• Categories: For your submitting and viewing convenience, videos can now be sorted into categories! We also have set aside a category for us to submit all of our Cutscenes and Boss Battles--so if you're ever bored, you can simply sit back and enjoy some Kingdom Hearts videos!
• Favorites: You can now build a list of your favorite videos on the KH-Vids Video Portal! To favorite a video, simply click the small heart icon at the upper left of the video:
  
  Don't want the video anymore? No problem! Simply unclick the heart.
• Playlists: You can also create playlists of videos for even more organization!
• Random Media: Don't know what you want to watch today? Hitting our Random Media button will generate any video from what I'm sure will be a bustling Video Portal for you to view.
• Commenting: Want to leave the video's creator a little feedback? Leave them a comment!
• Subscriptions: With the new Video Portal, you will be automatically subscribed to each of your submissions. What does this mean? You'll receive a private message everytime someone comments on your video. If you don't like this feature, then you can by all means remove a video from your subscriptions via the Subscriptions page!
• Search: Looking for a video from a specific game? Want to see a Riku centered video? Just put your search terms into the search box and start viewing.
• Statistics: To the right of our Video Portal, you can see who our Top 10 Contributors are (something to strive for!), how many videos are in our Portal, how many times videos have been commented on, and more!
• Report Media: Find something you don't think is appropriate? Hit the Report button and one of our moderators will review it!
• Complete Forum Integration: The new portal attaches right to the Forum, so what does this mean? For one thing, you only have one login on KH-Vids. Secondly, on your Profiles there is now a 'Media' tab that displays all of your uploads! And if you use a style other than the default, the Video Portal will match it!

But where did the old Video Portal go!?
Still need to retrieve some stuff from there? Want to access it for any reason at all? No problem! Though we will no longer support the old video portal, you can still visit it HERE.

I've found a problem in the new Portal / I need help!
The Portal is still very new--it has been tested, but problems may still exist. If you come across one, please let us know, either via a message to a staff member or by simply posting in this thread.
If you need additional help, please feel free to ask in this thread!
