I'm probably gonna wear my dog ears to school Thursday. Our mascot is a panther, but there's not a big difference on ears.
The freshman color is white, too, so it works. I just hope that my friends don't corner me and paint my face. xD

 

You guys know about the Star Wars series, right? Well, some of my classmate say that Obi-Wan never died and Death Vader was evil for a totally different reason.

Obi-Wan didn't die until Episode IV or V...and by that time, Vader already had the Death Star and commanded an army.
That army was previously the 501st.
And they were originally clones commanded by Anakin.

DP, did you see Episode III, during the battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan? His legs were cut off at the knees and he was badly burnt. As Death Vader, he had machine legs and arms, making him taller.

 

Not really. The first one we were all standing out in the cold in our sports uniforms (for tennis, it was a t-shirt and shorts...), and then in this one, students are supposed to cooperate with the rest of their grade.

Here's the thing:
Private school = Unbelivably competitive people.
Even though we want to win, we're not doing it together. I've tried to point this out, but everyone just shouts over me.
I can be competitive...but not to the degree that the 9th grade is.


Aerith: Yeah, I've been watching Star Wars LONG before the last three (failures) came out, and probably a while before you ever saw anything SW.
Lucas lost his mind, and totally ruined the SW universe for the remainder of time.

The people at my school are really competitive too.
That's the one thing I don't like about private schools...since their main focus is sports, they take it too seriously and become overly competitive. It's crazy.

 

PB, one of my classmates said that Death Vader wore his armor for a stupid reason. I recalled something from Episode III.

 

And that's exactly why I love tennis as an individual sport.
You can't trust people in a competition to play fairly, especially since nonprofessional tennis should not have a line judge.
People just take that as an opportunity to cheat.

Even in the Ronald McDonald CHARITY doubles tournament I played in this past Saturday...people were making bad calls and "miscounting" how many games they really won.

Yeah, I agree with you there.
I'd play tennis if I could, but...I have no way to get like lessons or anything. And I love tennis. It's so much fun.

I know. I was like, "Wait. Did he really just call my serve out?"
I do serve really fast, but...even my partner saw that it was in. I didn't feel like arguing, since I figured it was for a good cause and we only had 15 minutes to play each match.

You don't necessarily have to be good at it. Lots of people at the tournament never played before, but we all knew each other so it was fun.
And it's the most fun when you just have a random play on the court with your friend, regardless if you've played before or not.

Total upset in the men's division. It was awesome, though I didn't see the actual match.
