the new hogwarts kids

she walked to the ball crate and put the balls away,then put the crate away,and went in the changing room

 

Casey was pulling his jacket on with his back to the door as Lyra came in.

 

"you change fast..."she said going to her bench

 

"Oh, hey Ly. Well I'm a guy, what d'ya expect?" He grinned.

 

"well i dunno..."she said grinning

 

"We just don't take as long, when we say be ready in a minute we normally mean it."

 

"really? weird when a girl says be ready in a mintue...they really mean a hour...."lyra said hanging up her robes

 

"I've noticed that." Casey smirked. "I'll be outside." He said leaving Lyra to get changed.

 

she put her boots away and put on her sneakers and shook her hair out of the pony tail,tapping it wit her wand,she made it go staight again with a slight wave at the bottom

 

Casey stood outside looking up at the stands, the spring sunlight glaring into his eyes and his hands in his pockets. It's strange... It really is...

 

she pulled her black half-jacket on over the red top,clipping her fringe back she walked outside

 

"Hmm..." Casey muttered thoughtfully, still gazing skywards. Oblivious to the world around him.

 

"that you in your own world again case?"lyra asked grinning

 

"Huh?! Oh?" Casey jumped "Right... Yeah, sorta..."

 

"thought as much..."she said

 

"Sorry..."

 

"sorry for what? everybody daydreams...."she said

 

"I guess..." He smiled ruffling the back of his hair as he turned to look at her.

 

"so its no big deal..."

 

"Right...right..." Casey nodded.
