"Are you certain?" He asked, inside his head he was almost begginng her to say what it was so he didn't accidently land Jordan in trouble too.

 

"yeah....why?"Lyra said

 

Casey sighed "I've heard rumors around that he's... violent... I just wanted to see if they were right..."

 

"who said that?"lyra said"they're lying....hes not violent..."

 

"Like I said it's just what I've managed to piece together." Casey explained "I just wan... no I need to know if it's true. Even if it was just him getting a bit p*ssed and he'd been having a bad day. OK?"

 

"But hes not violent..."Lyra said

 

Casey sighed again "Do you know about my uncle? Not the vampire, the other one?"

 

"no...."she said "your mums brother?"

 

"Yeah... he died when he was 18... But before that he wasn't exactly...nice... He had... well an abusive personality... and my Mum was on the reciving end of it... All the time... So you can see why I'm so worried about this... I mean, my mum has to go see a shrink twice a week and has had three suicide attempts because of it all..."

chrizlee looked out her window towards the lake..

James looked at jordan..

 

Casey noticed it immediately... when ever he spoke to Conni about Scorpious her hands either covered up her arm or her neck, you don't live with a lunatic and not pick up on these things...
"Show me your arm..." he asked simply.

 

"why?"she said

"free period?"jordan asked him

 

"Just do it, if I've got it wrong it all it'll do is make me look stupid."

 

she rolled up her sleeve to show a large,purpleish,black bruise on her arm,she looked away

 

Casey bit his lip, "I was right then... Ly, if there's anything you want me to do, even if it's just sit and listen to you, it dosen't even have to be about this... Just let me know ok?"

 

she nodded
