she bit her lip,looking at the ground again

 

Casey silently reached out for her hand, grasping it gently in his own.

 

she squeezed it gently

 

Casey sighed, he didn't know what to say to her. What do you say to anyone you care about that much when they've just lost their mother? So he simply gave her a "I love you, and if you want to talk, all you have to do is ask." smile. Hoping she'd get the entire meaning of the look.

 

she nodded,understanding

 

Casey nodded back. Before looking forwards again with a deep sigh. The world would never be the same again. Tonight, the war got personal.

 

she sighed again

 

"I guess it's time to go home..." Conni muttered "We gave it our all... Nothing left we can do..."

 

"Yeah...."He mutterd

nothing to do but go after the f*cker who started all of this.... she thought

 

Conni sighed again. "I'll make sure the last of the students get home safely. You lot go... Including Casey, if you'll take him and he wants to. I doubt you lot'll want him hanging around though."

 

"He can come if he wants..."

ooc-should we like move onto a few months later,when lyra first decids to pack up and go?

Casey nodded, he didn't want to leave Lyra. And he knew his Mum would be alright, she always was...

she looked back at the now ruined castle,and sighed looking forward again

 

OOC- Yeah, do that then if you want.

"Everything will work out... Just you wait..." Casey murmered, speaking for the first time since it'd happened.

OOC-Not much else to do... Except Lily's funeral, but I duno how that'd happen lol. And it's a little depressing... Maybe just a little while after her death. When everyone's just getting used to life without her.

"Don't worry..." He smiled, squeezing her hand again.
