Elle sighed awkwardly. Being around Lyra was making her uncomfortable.

"I think I'm gonna go..." She sighed.

 

"where?"she said

 

"Home... Don't see the point in staying here any more..."

 

"Huh? what brought this on?"she said

 

"It's been coming for a while, so don't seem to surprised. I just don't feel like I fit in around here anymore... Maybe it's time for me to leave..."

 

"but why do you feel like that? has someone said something...?"

 

"You've gotta know about how the other girls in my year think about me. I just don't think I can take any more of it, and I've made a lot of mistakes recently. One's I won't be able to recover from for a long while..."

 

"Never mind them elle...and im sure the mistakes werent that bad..."

 

"Well, most of my recent mistakes have included most of the guys in the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw Quidditch teams."

 

"thats not...that bad..."

"Oh...right..."

 

"Yeah... So you see my problem... Thing is... I know if I stopped they might leave me alone. But, I can't stop it. It just happens..."
