Casey watched Zane suspiciously, he didn't like Lyra's reaction to whatever it was he said.

 

"so...those rumors still goin' round?"she asked as if nothing had happend

 

"Huh?" Casey asked looking back at Lyra.

 

"the rumors? about you being gay....they still goin' around?"she asked

 

"Yep, apartentley I'm Hogwarts's first homosexual head boy." he laughed "And the first year boys are giving me a wide birth so I'm guessing some one told them."

 

"someone told the first years?"lyra said raising a eyebrow"im suprised someone has told your mum yet..."

 

"Oh they have, I had to have the Talk with my parents last year. The single most uncomfortable experience of my life." he shuddered

"They weren't sure. I don't exactly think and act like the other guys around my place."
