"Or you stay on the team, like everyone would want?" Casey suggested hopfully.

"you never know...the sub could be better than me..."

 

Casey raised a cynical eyebrow at her.

"If a sub was better than you wouldn't you be the sub and not them?"

 

"i dunno"she said
