Casey was sitting silently in the deserted Gryffindor Common room reading a book.

 

"ok ly...you set to go..."lily asked,"call if anythings wrong ok? i wanna know..."
"Ok,i will...or ill get alex too...."she said
"Yeah do that..."she said"bye then...see you when we get back...."
she nodded
jordan crosssed his arms"Lucky!" he said

 

He slowly turned the page with a sigh.

 

she dissapperated

 

"I have to be without a doubt the most pathetic guy in existence..." Casey muttered snapping the book shut.

 

"Hey alex....bye alex..."she said when her cousin arrived

"Huh?"he said

 

Casey stared sadly into the depths of the crackling fire.

 

where are you going?"
"school...duh..."she said"i didnt wanna leave anyway..."
"fine...but take your phone as i can check up on you and tell your mum...and use flu powder..."
"right..."she said going to the fire

 

Casey sneezed as the ashes from the fire scattered into the air around.

 

"houes elves really need to dust better in here...."she said stepping out

 

"Ly!" Casey exclaimed jumping up "What you doing back?"

 

"told my mum i was 'ill' and she let me go home and made alex look after me...and then i told alex i was coming back..."

 

"You lying again Lyra Spinett?" Casey smirked raising an eyebrow "Never mind, I'm just happy I'm not on my own anymore."

 

"well why not lie? i can get away with it now..."she said grinning"and thats why i came back...felt sorry for ya! all on your lonesome..."

 

"Coz you shouldn't." he laughed "And thanks, surprised you didn't want to stay with your family rather then me."

 

"please.....i was sooo bored..."

 

"Oh yeah? Jordan not doing anything dumb then?"

 

"Not yet..."she said said sitting down

 

Casey sighed deeply before asking "Alex said you went to go vist your relatives in europe or somwhere."

 

"Yeah,my dads parents...thats why i left...they were sooo annoying..."
