Casey dropped down onto the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the floor. "Well... This sucks..." he muttered sadly, it was the only thing he could think of to say but it didn't exactly cover the exact level of disapointment and depression he was currently swaped with. She obviously doesn't feel anything like the same way I do... I knew I was kidding myself right from the off...

 

she sighed and looked out the train window,she looked across at jordan,who was on the seat oposite her.

 

"As if anything was going to happen anyway..."

"Hey you two." Elle grinned looking around the doorway "You decide to ditch the dumba** then Ly?"

 

"hey elle..."jordan said

"who?"lyra said

 

"Casey. He ain't with you. Hey Jordan."

 

"Yeah.he said hes gonn stay at school..."she said

 

"The twins? I dunno what his problem with them is." She sighed

 

something about them thinking p*ssing him off is the most fun game ever..."

 

"Well it is." she giggled

 

"really?"she said raising a eyebrow

 

"Yeah! Spesh when he throws a hissy!"

 

"well cant blame him if everybodies winding him up..."

lyra sighed,she had been at her grandparents for awhile...but unlike jordan,she could go home when she wanted...she looked out the window getting a idea,it was boring here...so ..."Mum...im not feeling to well today...mind if i go home? ill come back if i feel better?"

"you really dont feel well?"she said and lyra shook her head"fine...just becareful...better yet...since alex is alone too and albus and the others are in his parents in laws,you and alex can stay in the house...he can look after you...ill give him a call hang on..."
