"Il go in the early morning. Maybe I can sneak out through a upstairs window. That way, I could outrun them and still find my way back" Ada answered.

 

he nodded...

 

Elle sat in silence half-listening to the other two and half lost in her despairing thoughts.

"You okay Ly?" Casey asked following her into her room.

 

"yeah....its just creepy...the way those dogs are sitting out there....its like they know we'll come out..."she said as she changed into her strapy top and pajama shorts.

 

Ada watched the dogs. They were gazing at the house. "Alex, are they outside the other window?"

 

"Yeah... It's unnerving..." Casey agreed.

"Please say they're not..." Elle whimpered.

 

"ill look..."he said

she got under the covers"wish they'd go away..."

 

Ada nodded, waiting for Alex to reply.

 

"they're not."he lied,not wanting to panic Elle anymore

 

Ada looked at him, knowing he was lying."Then i guess were safe then..."

 

"yeah,you two should get some sleep,ill stay up and watch..."he said

 

Ada looked at him.."No, I'l stay up, I only need about an hour of sleep anyways, so it's better if you two get some rest"

 

"I couldn't sleep even if I was tired..."

"Don't worry Ly..." Casey said sitting down on the edge of her bed. "I'm sure everything'll be fine by daybreak."

 

She nodded"yeah...hope so..."

"guesse its just us three then..."

 

"Yeah..Alex keep watch at the window. Iv got some Chocolate mixture in my bag. Anyone want some Hot chocolate? It's the only thing we'l be able to eat at the moment. Everything else is in the car."

 

"No Thanks."Alex said,his head resting against the window

 

"Elle? You want some? It'l calm your nerves"

 

"Anything that isn't cheese makes me sick..." Elle giggled weakly.

"It will be." Casey smiled encouragingly, placing a hand on her shoulder.
