The new Hogwarts Kids: Halloween Special

Ada sighed again "Either somebody goes, or we all die in here." She turned to Lyra. "Where does the Zipline become visible from the house?"

"fine...just be careful..."Jordan said

"its outside jordan's room.."

Ada nodded, looking outside.

 

she headed up stairs

 

Ada walked towards the door, transforming once she was outside. Looking up, she looked for the Zipwire.

 

Lyra picked up the harness and strapped it on,Jordan Limped in after her"Careful out there ly..."he said

 

Ada ran in the direction of the Zipline, her nose picking up a few dozen scents of the dogs. Reaching her destination, she waited outside for Lyra, staying in her wolf form for safety.

 

lyra climbed out

"ready ly?"Alex said clipping her on,she nodded,"alright....go luck...sparky..."he gave her a push,

she got half way before it jammed"oh sh-"she was a sitting duck,and she could here the dogs coming

 

Ada noticed the Zipline pull and then stop, but No Lyra. Sniffing the air, she noticed Lyra's scent was no where near the house, but still in the middle of the woods, the scent of the dogs dangerously close to hers.

 

"sh*t...."he said running his hand through his hair in a nervous fashion

she swung her legs up and slid her way down the rest of the way,she unclipped her self,and jumped down into the shed,she climbed into the beaten up old car"ok....lets see..."she said bending down,she picked up the wires needed,she started to put them together,she got the engine going,and tried the breaks,"oh no! they're out!" she said outloud,suddenly there was dogs barking and jumping on th car,she let out a scream as one put its head in the window,"oh get away!"she said kicking it in the face,this only angerd it,she went to kick again,but it grabbed her ankel and bit hera louder scream tore form her,she climbed out the sunroof and up the rafters,she climbed out onto the roof,tears running down her face,she stopped to get her breath back

"lyra!"Jordan yelled,a dog had finaly gotten on the roof,and it made straight for Lyra,she screwed up her face in anger,and picked up the plank of wood that was lying on the roof and hit the dog,sending it flying"dont f*ck with me!"she said,then she started to climbe back towards the others

 

Ada ran back through the woods, still in her wolf form, but what she guessed was the pack leader jumped out infront of her, snarling. Growling softly, she attempted to divert it, only to have it dive for her neck. Yelping, she swung forwards, the larger dog releasing its grip. Spinning round, she growled threateningly, going for its leg and biting down hard. The other dog howled and looked at her, before lunging at her and crashing her into a nearby tree as she howled loudly in pain.

 

"Ada!"Jordan said jumping down,he picked up a large piece of metal and ran(sort of) towards the fighting,he hit the leader dog hard in the side"go pick on someone your own size!"

 

Ada whimpered, before transforming back to her human form. "T-thanks Jordan-" She stuttered, her hands flying up to her bleeding neck. "Ah f*ck" She pulled out a hanky, folded it up and pressed it against her neck.

 

"C'mon...lets go..."Jordan said.thats three been biten now....whats gonna happen? by the time they got back,Alex was cleanning Lyra's bite"oh good you got her Jor....we need to clean that wound Ada..."Alex said as he bandaged up lyra's ankel

 

Ada nodded, wincing as she pulled away the hanky from her neck. "I think it's gunna bruise"

 

"It might....we just have to keep a eye on you....you and Lyra could end up the way jordan has...like a hyperactive puppy or whatever....how does it feel now?"he said pulling the cloth away,he had cleaned it,jordan went to Lyra,she looked white as a sheep,scared out of her mind and not to mention a little bit sick,she looked like she could throw up at anymoment

 

"It's still sore, but i'l live with it. I suppose I'l just stay in my wolf form." She murmered. "Oh, by the way, I Found these" She said, rumaging in her pocket for the thick brown envelope. "Its the documents regarding everything that happened here, what the facilities were used for, how they treated the dogs, and how they got out"

 

"I wouldn't stay in wolf-form if I was you Ada. No offence but your mind is simpler then and if this is something that affects the central nervous system as Jordan's behaviour would indicate then you'll deteriorate at a much faster rate. Not to mention you could bite us much more easily." Elle piped up, earning a look of surprise from the panic-striken Casey, whom until that point had been cleaning up Lyra's wounds.

He was furious at himself for not having gone first. If he had then it wouldn't of been her in pain or bleeding. It wouldn't of been her that had been infected with whatever foul, loathsome disease these dogs have. He'd made a promise to keep her safe, even before he'd fallen in love with her. All that did in this circumstance was make him feel worse, make him feel as though he was an utter failure and assure him that his thoughts on how undeserving he was of her were in fact correct. However, in the depths of despair he was in for having been such a failure to her he still noticed that Elle had said something uncharacteristicly intelligent. "So having two brains in you has made your IQ raise?" He asked with a faint and weak chuckle.

"I can be smart, I just chose not to be so I don't get ostracized from my friends. Seeing as they decided I wasn't worth their time when I got pregnant I decided to drop the act, no point in playing dumb when there's no one around to hear it." Elle explained. "But I ain't super smart, just more intelligent then one might think I am."

 

"Attack dogs? a new strain of rabies? what kind of people lived here?"


"really sick people...."


"im fine Casey,you dont need to worry about me...im a touch cookie..."she grinned


Ooc-Lyra and jordan's uncle's gonna make a apperence,but be like near dead,and when he talks to jordan,he tells them to get off before dogs drag him away....thats the only time he'll be in this...^^ lol

 

"Whatever they were developing here obviously bit them on the arse." Elle sighed. "Rather Jurassic Park really..."
