The new hogwarts kids: fourth year, the tournment

"You know there's some one in the corner right?" He asked Lyra casually.

 

"there is?"Lyra said looking

 

"Yep. It's a guy I think."

 

Derek looked up in surprise but remained in the corner...

 

"i see him now..."Lyra said

 

"H-hi" Derek greeted shyly...

 

"Hey"Lyra said

 

"Hey, what are you doin'?" Casey asked, just a little creeped out.

 

"I-I was reading when you two came in..." He explained a little emarrased now. "And i didn't want to interrupt you so i hid in the corner..."

 

"How come you weren't watching us get our asses burt off by the Dragon?" Casey asked "I think we oughtta name him at least Ly, he was so plesant to us." He joked to Lyra

 

"yeah..."she said grinning

 

Derek looked confused from one to the other...

 

"didnt you go watch the first task?"lyra asked"with the dragon? whichi hope chokes on its own fire...."

 

"I think he should be called Draco. He acts loads like my Grandad when you wake him up." Casey joked before going more serious "I thought that thing was gonna cook and eat me!"

 

"No... i was locked inside the corridors by some girl with blonde hair..." He explained looking at her.

 

"never know....it could've been trying to do that...."Lyra said she sighed"we dont have to go to any classes...right?"

 

"No we don't Ly, thank f*ck... Probley one of my sister's mates that locked you in. Tiffany I bet, she does stuff like that."

 

"can laugh at everyone when they get back then...oh...wait no...we cant....we nearly got turned into human toast...."lyra said

 

Derek had gotten out of the corner and was awlking towards one of the nearby chairs...

 

"Bloody Draco was mean." Casey laughed.
"Is that anyway to talk about Grandad?"
"I wasn't, I was talking about the dragon. Shouldn't you be in class?" He sighed
"We got let out early and I like forgot a book." Elle explained pushing her long chesnut brown hair behind her ear. "You know Mum was conviced you were gonna die?"
