The new hogwarts kids: fourth year, the tournment

"it hurst girls too when they get hit! and i know whats worse than a guy getting hit there!"Lyra said"girls go through more pain when they're giving brith!"

 

"I seriously doubt that." Casey winced "I seriously do."

 

"you think getting hit there....is worse than giving birth?"lyra said pulling her sock up a little,she was already in her unifourm...but had taken to wearing mini skrits for some reason and make up too

"Lyra! put your robe on for goodness sake!"Lily said not liking how small the skirt looked,she sighed

"Ok mum!"she called,then turned away"yeah that'll be right..."

 

"I remember when you went through that phase." Conni taunted Lily. "Short skirts and more make up than anyone would belive was possible."
"Why you dressed like that anyway? You look like a St Trinnian's student." Casey laughed
"Uncalled for Casey. Uncalled for."

"thanks...thats the look im going for..."she said sarcasticly

lily rolled her eyes"my skirts were never that short! i knew i shouldnt have let her buy the stuff on her own!""


"Lils...chill...its just a skirt..."albus said

"I seem to remeber that once i wore a skirt like that and you and james went mental because it was short..."Lily said

 

"Just saying the fact Ly. What you want me to lie and tell you look awesome when, no offence, you look like you're trying to be something your not." he shrugged.

"I remember that." Conni laughed. "They went balistic!"

 

"I just felt like a change is all...every other girl my age wear stuff like this...."lyra sai

"thats because they're total sl*ts..."alex said appering againhis mother hit him round the head

"dont say that around me again!"she said

"yeah,then got dad to tell me to take it off..."Lily said

 

"I never did short skirts. For obvious reasons." Conni laughed "Dad would of flipped anyway, even if I wasn't hiding anything."

"It's true though." Casey smirked. Making sure he wouldn't get hit either, he never could tell if someone was going to hit him or not. "You want to end up like Elle and her mates?" He asked jerking his head towards the giggling gang of girls in mini-skirts and over the top make-up.

 

"my short isnt that short and my make-up isnt over the top...."lyra said


"yeah...never wore short sleeved tops after fourth year...after the maze...i still have that scar..."

 

"You're just acting like a the girls who have to try really hard. And I don't think you have to."

"I lost count of the scars I've got... Scorp, Mouldy, myself and anything else. I still never got the scar from first year to go completley..."

 

"i just thought i'd look like a girl this year...growing up with jordan,alex,his brothers,my mum's cousins family all have boys....i grew up likea guy...so i figured...time to look like a girl...but i might go back to my tomboy look...though im sick of it..."Lyra said shrugging

"yeah..."Lily said"and the scars from the lines we had to write..."

 

"Maybe you could find some where between tart and tomboy." Casey grinned cheekily.

"Don't... I hated that, and Nort wasn't exactly helpfull about it." She said pulling a face at the memory "I always thought it was he's brother that was a vampire."

 

lily nodded"and when he ripped that guy apart in my grandparents back garden...."

"Very funny..."lyra said crossing her arms again

 

"Yeah... the guy lived - thank God... I still haven't got over that... Luckily the werewolf thing's pretty much under control."

"Seriously, just find what you're comfortable with. And you don't look like a hooker in."

 

"thats probly the nicest thing you've said since you got here..."Lyra said grinning

lewis put lyra and jordans cases on the train.."Ly...can you get your cat off my arm?!" he gritted his teeth in pain

"oh...sorry dad!"lyra said getting the cat and holding him"Bad cat! you only do that to jordan!"

"RIGHT! GEEZ SORRY!"

yeah...."Lily said"he was only just alive..."

 

"Alright fine. But it's over now anyway, I'd turn him into a throwrug if he did anything stupid like that... He's having enough trouble finding work as it is. Without mauling anyone."

Casey snorted with laughter as the cat was removed from Lewis's arm. "Sorry..."

he rubbed his arm

"So, anythin' interesting happening at school this year?" Casey asked not expecting an interesting answer.

 

lyra shurgged

"yes,but im not happy about this tournment...thank god you arents 16 or 17...and you..."she said turning to alex"dont even think about entering...i know all about these kind of things...and they dont go down to well..."

"whats happening at school mum?"Lyra asked

 

"They're not doing it again?" Conni gasped "Three muck ups in a row should of taught them it's a bad idea..."
