Ada squealed.."But, Im older than Lyra!"

 

"See,see mum,shes older than ly,and ly doesnt wanna drink...so i can have hers right?"Jordan said as cory tired to climb over his shoulder in a bid for freedom,jordan caught him.
"Fine....Lyra,can i talk to you?"lily asked

a small look of Panic came across her face

 

Ada looked across at Lyra..

 

"Whats up ly? not like you to say no to a drink...."

"i just dont want to drink..."

 

"I Dont think she wants to teach Cory any bad habits" Ada perked up. "'Cuz thats what we was discussing upstairs"

 

"im sure..."

 

Ada blinked..."What you mean?"

 

"Lyra can you tell me why there is a full box of tamp-"

"whoa! whoa! hey hey! shut up! im here,so's alex and Cory...wanna tramitise the little guy?!"Jordan said in panic,he knew where this talk was going,he covered corys ears "im outta here...alex come on."the three boys left

 

Ada looked confused..."Huh?"

Right at that moment Casey re-entered the room having just come back from the bathroom. He casually looked around the room at the faces of the women inside. Immeadatly realising what was happening he said quickly "I think I better be going." And made a quick run out of the room again, if for nothing other then to add some humour to the situation. However in hindsight he realised that it was most likely not the brightest of ideas on his half.

"Umm... yeah..." Casey said, re-entering the room running a casual hand through his golden hair. "And it wasn't something that just happened one night or something... We've been together for a couple of years now... And...well... I love her..."

"How could you keep this from us Ly?"Lewis said,he wasnt angry,dissapointed or anything,in fact he was quiet happy that his daughter had found some on better than that Zane boy,he acctualy approved of Casey

 

"It's true... I know I joke around a lot and mess about but I would never joke about this, and certainly am not going to mess Lyra around. If for the fact she'd beat me within an inch of my life if I did if nothing else." Casey said with a small chuckle. The look in his bright eyes showing that every word he said. He loved her so much, and he had done for longer then anyone had realised. He may only of had the courage to say anything after the Zane Incident, but he'd been so deeply in love with her for so much longer. Before Zane had really appeared on the scene he'd realised. Then whilst she was with him everyday had been a trial of his emotional strengh. Every kiss he saw them share, every embrace they had burned him deeply. But he daredn't say anything at all because, after all, Lyra had seemed happy. He had been the first to pick up there was something wrong, he'd tried to get her out before it was too late. But each time it was to no avail...
