I raged mildly.

 

The FMA dubs are much better then the original Japanese voice acting, but I'm an impatient *******.

First episode was 100% fan service however.

Ice Alchemist was pretty badass for a 1-episode Filler character.

For my stupidity and just getting into the series, this takes place right after the events of the movie or does this act like the movie was a seperate entity?

 

It follows the manga directly, so it's separate from the original series completely.

 

Not really. The manga and original series are almost exactly the same up until Greed shows up. The first episode has some major differences from both of those regarding how certain characters met, etc.

 

Really? I didn't know, I only read the first volume of the manga, which was very similar, but I just assumed that they would diverge from there.
