The New Era

"Thanks, I havn't stolen anything since I was 5."

 

"Well be glad i havent stolen anything except for a peice of paper."

 

"Food, I had no choice."

 

"A bill." They reach the East Gate.

 

"It was that or starve. I never forgave myself for it."

 

Des sees another judge. " I thought they were already at the funeral."

 

"Huh?" asked Ni. Then the wind blew Ni's hair into her face and she flicked it out again.

 

"Follow me. Now!" Des says, quickly getting out of the jdge's line of sight.

 

Ni quickly followed Des. "What is it?" she whispered

 

"There is a judge over there who has it in for me."

 

People really think he's a adult?!....Shut up, so did I...
"What makes you think that?"

 

"Well he tried to kill me."

 

"That would make you think that."

 

"Stay here." Des kisses ni on the forehead for goodluck. He blushes.

 

Ni blushed too. "Good Luck."

 

"You too." He puts on his helemet and walks off.

 

Ni blushed a deep shade of pink and carefully watched.

 

Judge Marthis (bad judge) sees Des. Both jdges pull out weapons "Why do you want to kill me?"

"You have something I want."

Marthis rushes at Des. Des sidesteps the attack and hits Marthis's helemet off. the face is that of an old man. Marthis now calls upon hidden archers to help him.

 

Ni flinched at the sound of the clashing metel. And she saw the archers ready their bows. Ni's hand auomaticlly goes to her shotgun by her side, but she stops herself from doing anything stupid.

 

The archers fire. One shot hits Des and peirces his armor. Now Des is angry. He quickly gains the upper hand against his opponet. marthis stumbles back.

"Kill me."

"No i am not a killer. But they might kill you." Des said pointing at the onlookers.

The people rush in and the end of Marthis' life has come. Des stumbles ashort way and falls down.
