Xensoa turned and smiled a bit. "Hello, Nebx......."

 

I jumped at the sound of Nebx's voice. I turned my head, and saw him standing behind us. 'Oh...this should be fun....' I thought.

"Uhhh....hi?" I said slowly and quietly, unsure of what to say...

 

Xensoa continued her sketch, and looked up at Nebx. "Umm, Nebx.........."

 

"What is it?" Nebx asked looking at Xensoa.

 

Xensoa swallowed, and said, "What did you mean, 'I'm sorry'?!"

 

"Why are you yelling?" Nebx asked.

 

"Sorry, but what did you mean by that?" she asked, looking at him.

 

Nebx was sileant and he turned his head toward Saxilesm.

 

I was staring at Nebx. "...Should I leave?" I asked, slowly and quietly. 'Yeah....I'm thinkin' I should....I think I may be stuck in a bad sitch....' I thought sadly.

 

"Please, it's been bugging me ever since you said it," Xensoa said. "What did you mean by 'I'm sorry'? Please, tell me, Superior."

 

"Xensoa, do you like me?" Nebx asked.

 

Xensoa looked away from Nebx and Saxilesm and said, "Well, I guess I've liked you, but I don't know when it started. Why do you ask?"

 

"Well I just want to say that I don't like you. I like you as a friend but not as a lover." Nebx said. He turned his to Saxilesm and said, "I like Saxilesm."

 

"I understand," Xensoa said, leaving her book on the bench. She walked to the door, but stopped. Grabbing her book, she went to the door and left.

 

My hands were slightly shaking. "Umm....." I had no idea what to say. I was nervous, and I hadn't really been in this type of situation, before. I just quietly sat there, my gaze shifting from Nebx to my hands as I blushed. I stayed quiet.

 

"Nebx likes Saxilesm, not me........." Xensoa said. "Like someone like me could......." Her face went red when she thought about it. She ran off, dropping her book, which opened to a page with a sketch of Nebx.

 

Nebx sat down next to Saxilesm.

 

"....What about....Xensoa? She's probably upset...." I said quietly to Nebx. I refused to look at his face. I was too shy to, and a bit dazed, as well.

 

Xensoa wanted into the castle arena and put her hands together. 'Oh, powers of a summoner, come to me!' she chanted. A long sword appeared in front of her, and a target appeared behind her. She grabbed the sword, and sliced the target.

 

"I know...Should I go see her?" Nebx asked.
