Looking at the moonless sky, Xensoa thought about her past.

 

Nebx started to hum to himself.

 

Xensoa sighed and started to sing, 'I thought you were my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping, a wish upon a star that's coming true..... But everyone else could tell that I confused my feelings with the truth when there were me and you.'

 

Nebx sighed and looked at his hands.

 

Xensoa sighed, she whispered to herself, 'Was I destined to be alone?'

 

Nebx pounded his hands into his desk and started to cry very loudly.

 

She stood up and walked toward the door, gently knocking on the door.

 

"What is it?" Nebx asked looking at his door.

 

"I thought I heard something, coming from your door," Xensoa said. "So, what was something the matter?"

 

Nebx walked over to his door and unlocked it and said, "Come in."

 

Slowly, Xensoa entered his room and turned to him.

 

"What do you want?" Nebx asked.

 

"You were crying about something," Xensoa said. "May you tell me about it?"

 

"I...I wasn't crying..." Nebx said looking toward the ground.

 

"You're lying, I heard crying," Xensoa said. "If anything is wrong, come talk with me."

 

Nebx backed up a few feet.

 

"Is something wron......" Xensoa didn't finished. She turned away from him, softly singing, 'I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter...... I had to fall, to lose it all, but in the end, it doesn't even matter.....'

 

Nebx walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

 

Xensoa looked up at Nebx. "Yes?"

 

"Are you okay?" Nebx asked.
