Xensoa looked at him. "Yeah, but I never got to meet her. I should have, to thank her for stopping Sin.

 

"What is this 'Sin' you speak of?" Nebx asked crossing her arms.

 

Exel, a distance away, listened to the conversation between Nebx and Xensoa.

 

"A giant evil that attacked my world, only summoners could defeat it," Xensoa said. "It killed my family. I doubt I'll see their spirits here. But Lady Yuna saved the world, at the cost of her lover." She did the prayer gesture and bowed her head.

 

Nebx smiled at Xensoa and said, "I see."

 

"Did you lose your lover?" Xensoa asked.

 

Nebx was sileant and he stared at Xenosa with a blank look.

 

"I didn't meant to say anything to upset you," Xensoa said, she did the prayer gesture and bowed at him. "I'm sorry."

 

Nebx patted her on the head and said, "It's alright."

 

Xensoa gave a small smile. "Okay............." She opened her book and looked through it.

 

Nebx walked pass her.

 

Exel sighed and peeked around the corner to look at Xensoa and Nebx.

 

Xensoa closed her book and walked toward a portal leading toward the Hall of Empty Melodies.

 

Exel saw her leave and then he left his spot toward the training room.

 

Xensoa sat in the Hall of Empty Melodies, staring at the sky. She thought about the talk she had with Nebx.

 

Nebx walked into his room and locked his door.

 

Xensoa looked at the sketch she made, she sang, 'Never again........... I never will... I never will.... Never again.......' All she could hear was her echo.

 

Nebx sat in his room making weapons.
