Look. in KH1 Ansem's report (the real ones) told of the heatless and what becomes of the heart.

In KH2 he mentioned what becomes of the body = nobodies.

In KH3 we may yet find out what becomes of the soul. Ansem did not mention what happens. possibly it forms a chaser.

 

Some would argue that it isn't the soul that makes up the third part. The KH series had an entire potion dedicated to memories (CoM) so it possible they play a real integral part in the story.

 

From what Yen Sid says in KH2, the soul and the body make up the Nobody...

And memories were more of a heart thing.

 

I can't see how your theory that 'KH3' is about the souls, cause of what DarKnight36 stated.

No, the souls contain the memories. That's why Nobodies can remember their past lives. The heart contains feelings/will.

 

I agree, plus, the 'Chasers' would have to have no body if they were just the soul, the heartless don't have a 'definate' shape do they?

Ya you guys are right. but I meant that Ansem didn't mention what becomes of the soul, he said HE HIMSELF didn't know. "what happens to the soul I do not know" so I meant that the soul will be explained sooner or later.

 

Actually, I had imagined that some third force other than Heartless and Nobodies would appear in the upcoming game..... and there is one thing that supports it.

Near the beginning of KH2, Naminé leaves some picture behind after Riku and DiZ drag her off. If you look closely at it, you'll see that there are three symbols on it: The Hearless symbol, the Nobody symbol, and if I remember right, there also was a third symbol, although I don't remember what it looked like. Perhaps that third symbol is the logo of the third force, if it exists.

DarKnight has a point, if it were just the body, it wouldn't have the mind of the person.

 

This has been mentioned in many other threads and I'll use the correct reply:
That third symbol was a simpler version of Sora's crown (The one on his chain).
