The Minuet of Shadows

The whirlwind condensed dangerously close, the sonic speed and velocity beating at Serj with blunt, heavy force. Almost like being punched. "A pity..." Ura spoke a third and final time. He walked forward, only to hault. The sudden hush only meant one thing...

"You dare interrupt my masquerade?" Xarioch asked, his voice hollow and serpentine. The mirror mask seemed to pulsate, as if trying to giggle. The room stared in horror at their Emperor. Black wings unfolded from his back, flapping once, only to burst into oblivion. Feathers fell about the room. Without another word, without hearing a reply, the Emperor whispered one word. "Kill them..."

Feeling the power of their lord, a squad of seven royal guards appeared, their masked faces hiding their drooling, their eyes pulsating with madness. They were about to feast once more.

 

ooc: where am i starting? this is the middle of the RP.

 

(OOC: No it isn't, it's just beginning. Just be an onlooker or something :P)

 

The ring isn't worth that much... And finally I see him... Ruby backed away from the scene, not wanting to be confused with the fight but waiting her moment to act. She might try to save Ura...after all he did giver her, her first dance.

 

Ura coughed again, not daring to remove his mask. He stared about, feeling spasms throughout his body. His knees barely buckled. "Damn it..." he whispered, afraid of the results of these Royal Guards.

 

OOC: onlooker :raise eyebrow: i'm not stupid... *sigh* fine, i'll look on till i can figure this one out.

"Well isn't this intresting," Sithos said drinking his wine.

Nox turned. Does this mean I'll finaly get to die?

 

Serj was starting to panic, seeing all of the gaurds approaching. "If they find out..." he muttered. He quickly clapped his hands together, hitting them against his pants at first to detatch them from the metalic floor. He then clapped them together, and touched them to his mask, as it dematerialized and rematerialized onto his arm, forming as quite an awkward looking crossbow, made out of the rainbow metals. Even the string, though it was hard to tell, was metalic. on the side of his arm hung metal arrows, each a different color with a different style to it. He then raised up his arm and placed an arrow into the awkward looking crossbow, stretching it back quite far to a length which most crossbows were never usually able to go. He aimed at one of the gaurds heads, and, to test out just how powerful they were, he shot the one metalic arrow, flying at the gaurd terribly fast, much faster then any normal crossbow arrow

 

rex wanted to draw a weapon but jerry stopped him from that
''let us wait before we join'' said jerry

''can i do that other thing'' asked rex with a calm voice

''not yet, do it when it's time'' said jerry

and the two waited for the royal gaurds to come to them to kill them

Sithos whached and waited.

 

Serj wasted no time when he started running, ruby STILL in his pocket since he never gave it to him, as he ran through the crowds of people, shoving through them as he approached the exit of the room
