The Maximum Ride: The Escape

Cian walked up to them, using his wings to block out the sun from his vision...

 

"Seeing how the sun is up I am going for a walk." She got up and walked away

 

Cian looked after her through the small gap in his wings, which had been made when he had plucked the feather out...

 

when she was out of sight she stoped and sighed They are different then what I was told about them

 

Cian decided he'd head back into the woods. no point in being un-able to see if nothing's happening He thought to himself walking silently into the woods...

 

she walked further ahead until she reached a road

 

Cian noticed her walking off and decided he should check what was going on, using his wings to block out the sun from his vision again...

 

she heard someone close by and turned to see Cian. She didnt even say hi before she turned again looking back to the road.

 

"What are you doing?" Cian asked stayiong a few feet behind her. just for safety... he thought.

 

Nate kept digging untillhe finally found the box.. he oppened it and found all of his old items and got his old clotes on and what he will now be needing... his gun. Devon also found her old clothes along with her long knife..

 

"Waiting for a ride."

 

"Why are you leaving?" Cian asked taking a step back into the woods and looking aruond to make sure no one saw his wings...

 

"No offenisve but I dont belong. That one was so nice, too nice and I am, well just selfish."

 

"No offense" Cian started. "But you seem more scared than anything else..."

 

she looked down "I've done some bad things in my past before I escaped from the people who made me like this....those sins cant ever be forgiven. I'm afraid that I might make even more sins...I hate being what I am."

 

"you really think you're the only one?" He asked looking at her. "I can't remember most of my life, but i can garantee you that not even i'm completely innocent. And just so you know... i'm actually horrified of other people..."

 

"Before you became...what you are....did you have a normal life?"

 

"No..." Cian replied. "Basically all i can remember is being experimented on, but from before all that..."
He smiled lightly. "I could talk to birds... chances are i was actually created and put into the orphanage as a postponed test since my body wouldn't of been able to handle being experimented on but the point is i could talk to birds, and others seemed to be scared of me because of it"

 

"Oh....I was there since brith...I just want to live a normal live even it is only for a little"

 

Cian sighed. "Just make sure to hide your wings..." He advised turning around. "Even though yours are not visible people will notice them..."
