"Who are you?"

 

"I'm Kait." She said not looking up from the flower, it was slowly opening up and closing back down into a bud as she spoke.

 

"Nate..."

"i'm Devon" she said smiling

 

"Lynn." she looked around "Well tell the bird guy that I said thanks" she started to walk away

 

"You leaving then?" Kait asked without taking her eyes of the flower. "With that lot still after you?"

 

"No offisve, but I dont trust any of you. But you're not the only ones...I cant trust anyone." she shurgged

 

"Very up front with that aren't you?" Kait continued placing the flower back on the bush

 

"hahaha, wow.. you really are a basket case then, you start running away from them just to leave your only chance of survival after he saves you.... you need to see a shrink or something to get your brain checked out cause it doesnt matter if you dont trust us..."

 

"Why should I trust anyone?! Everyone who I ever trust just hurt me..." she shook her head "Thanks anyway."

 

"I've never trusted anyone. Wasn't ever worth it." Kait sighed stroking a different flower and it bloomed.

 

"Trust doesn't matter... trust just gets in the way of survival..."

 

"Agreed." She looked at the sky for a moment

 

Nate took some deer out of the shadows and started to cook it with the spiced on the ground around him, "i'm starving"

 

she sighed and sat on the ground

 

Nate infally got done cooking and put all of it on a huge leaf..."take some if you're hungry"

 

"i dont eat meat anymore."

 

"Annoying as this is I'm vegan..." Kait mentioned.

 

Nate rolled his eyes and just said "whatever"

 

"So why are they chasing you?" Cian asked looking over at her....
