The Maximum Ride: The Escape

jake looked around there little camp. there was an apple tree over to the left(dont ask me why there is an apple tree in the middle of a forest). he went over to it and picked one. 'i havent had an apple in years' he thought. he took a bite. 'not bad'

Nate dashed quickly to camp, "uhmm hey theres a lil threat...what are you eastin?" he asked when he heard munching."

 

he tossed nate an apple. "please dont tell me that there are a bunch of big Erasers near by."he started filling a backpack with apples

 

"well of course thereis... you dont expect them to just forget about you guys... being withthemf for at least 10 years and all"

 

"fun. can you take Jasmine and nate with you as you do that shadow thing?" he asked as he put on the backpack

 

"i can try enveloping her, yes" Nate Enveloped her in darkness and tookher in the shadows, "alright all set

 

"what about nova?" he asked. jake pulled out his zippo just encase he had to roast some Erasers.

 

"yeah i was getting there" Nate enveloped him in darkness and took him in, "uhmm will Nova relaly like it being in darkness... cause of her powers and all?"

 

"well its that or being Eraser chow. which way are they?"

 

"east so we go west" Nate said

 

jake started walking west."what king of land do we have up ahead? mountain, forest,desert, ect."

 

"Mountain"

 

"ok then. i guess my lighter will be out of flue by the time we get over them unless there is a town before that."

 

"pfft you can manipulate fire right? ever tried manipulating the suns fire so it heats wood or soemthing and use that fire?"

 

"been there, tryed that. so is there a town somewhat in the direction we are heading?"

 

"it's... far but manageable"

 

"well i dedent think it would be right around tho corner. you want an apple?" he asked digging in the backpack

 

"Yeah Sure, by the way tell me when the sun sets so i can unblind me"

 

"ok." he tossed an apple to nate

 

"thanks, by the way want any deer? i sense one in the sahdows near."
