Eva shook her head as the coughs subsided.

 

Switch walked out to where the three were. "Feeling arlight?" she asked Eva, concerned. "Maybe they should have a few more blankets." she suggested to Neo.

 

"It's okay," Eva told Switch. "It's just a bit of a cough."

 

"Are you sure?" Switch asked, disbelivingly. "It's cold here, there's not much we can do for that. But you need to take care of yourself now that your in the real world."

 

Neo nodded in agreement to Switch."She's right..and I'd prefer a blanket over a boy." he said sternly, looking at Sepa for a moment.

BIC: "Sorry," Eva mumbled to Switch. She didn't want to be a nuisence and it felt like she had already annoyed some of her uncle's friends.

 

Sepa glared at him. "If Eva wants me to go, she can tell me. It's her choice."

 

"Please," Eva began. "Don't fight."

 

"I'm sorry." Sepa said to her, looking down.

 

"Hm..." Switch looked over Eva for a few moments, ignoring the two men arguing. She leaned down near her and put a hand to her forehead, gently. "She's sick."

 

Eva shook her head away from Switch's hand. "I am not."

 

"You might be." he said. "You should try to get a lot of rest."

 

"You have a fever and your coughing. What do you call that if not sick?" Switch asked, cooly. "It should pass soon, though, so don't be stubborn. You'll just need rest and probably some food in you."

 

Eva sighed. She hated being sick. And the circumstances weren't helping any.

 

"You're lucky I'm not the commanding officer on this ship,kid." Neo said, glaring back at him before looking over Eva.Switch thought of it was a fever, and due to her appearance,he agreed.

 

Sepa ignored him and gently lay her down. "Get some rest, you'll feel better in no time." he said to her.

 

Switch resisted rolling her eyes at Neo. Thank goodness he hasn't got a daughter of his own. "I'll go get blankets and see if we've got anything for a cough or fever. I think we have something left in the medical supplies..." she trailed of her words as she walked out of the room to the cabin where they kept their extra supplies.

 

Eva sat right back up. "I don't need to be babied." She mumbled, folding her arms across her chest in a pout.

 

"You're sick..babied or not, you need to be taken care of." Neo told her

 

"Exactly." Sepa said, agreeing with him for once. He knew her uncle cared about her, and he respected that. But Sepa wanted him to know that he cares about her too.
