Currently prepping the materials for my girlfriend's initial viewing of the Star Wars films, by downloading the Despecialized Edition versions of IV, V, and V, and going to use Machete Order (IV, V, II, III, VI) with only a tiny number of scenes from I.

 

Seems a little overcomplicated.

 

just go with release order

 

Since when is downloading movies and watching them in a specific order considered to be a complicated act?

 

It's worth it (for geeks like her and myself) for the sake of the storytelling that is lost from going with either Release Order or Episode Order.

Seriously, what in the hell?

 

I saw it briefly mentioned a few days ago on my usual SH forum.
I was baffled as to why he' d think Walter was circumcised. I mean why not, but he' s grasping at straws way too much to bother mentioning the possibility on the Wiki. I' m also a bit puzzled when he says :

Once ? Last time I checked Jewish lobbies still financed all sorts of questionable studies pushing their pro-circumcision agenda in the US. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the percentage of male circumcision going on in your country. If it had been done on me without my consent I' d pretty pissed about it, to put it mildly.

 

What. The only reason non-religious circumcision is even practiced in the US is because the creator of Corn Flakes was a massive prude. And you don't even WANT to know what he wanted to do with woman...

 

Seems kinda pedantic.

 

People who are passionate about things tend to care about the minor details lol.

 

The "studies" I' d seen linked in the past all came from Jewish lobbies, but now that you mention it a quick Google search tells me those don' t necessarily come from them.

Male circumcision in France : 14%
In the US : 55%

 

Yeah, it's sort of a thing that stuck in public consciousness over here and we still do it for non-religious reasons out of habit now. Even though most people don't even know the reason why we do it here. Again, Corn Flakes creator was a prude.
