While we're on the topic of nothing, is the Soul Eater anime good. Like, worth my time good. As in, if I buy the whole thing on blu ray for $30 I won't feel like an idiot for wasting money?
I watched the first couple episodes on Toonami when they started airing it, and I read the manga up until a year or so before it quit because it got mega super boring. I know they're different but I don't know how different. Not that that's a make or break it point. Side-note: Kinda want to read the manga again because of nostalgia.

And what about Claymore? That's kinda cheap right now as well and I remember liking it when I watched it way back when but remember next to nothing about it. Is it good? Like, good good.

I mean, I was a massive fan while I was into it but the manga couldn't keep me interested in those last few years.
From what I've seen of the anime it seems really fun and enjoyable, but that's based off of the first 5ish episodes.

    Why do you hate it?

It's not only trying REALLY hard to be a shonen anime, but it's a Bleach ripoff.

I liked the Soul Eater anime up until the VERY LAST MOMENT OF THE LAST BATTLE OF THE LAST EPISODE WHICH I HATED

Heard Claymore is kickass, and I can believe that.

    ha

That's what drew me to it believe it or not

Though I would say it's better and more interesting than Bleach

Part of me saw it as Bleach meets D. Gray Man, though better than Bleach and not nearly as good as D. Gray Man.

I may have offended people with this post

I used to do that in high school. A LOT.

Hey, if that's your thing, go for it then. Do it up. Watch it twice.

WHOA WHOA WHOA WHoa whoa whoa whoa. Whoa. Wwwwhoa.

    Love is a strong word.

I like the aesthetic, and I like some of the character interactions, because it's Jet Set Radio on Halloween in a school setting and I am individually a sucker for each and every one of those things. Also it's animated by BONES, so, gdlk. However, the plot itself feels like something I've experienced six times before, the whole "person as a weapon" concept never really floors me like I'd expect it to in execution, and I HATE Death the Kid with a PASSION. (And not even because Todd Haberkorn voices him.)

I would not rate it among my best in terms of quality or even personal attraction, but for what it is, I think it's fun, and I'll probably watch it if it's on and gladly if someone else wants to. I understand that's more of a mouthful than LOVES IT, but sometimes asymmetry is ok.

It is kinda like that, yeah. In fact the bit about quality is nearly spot-on. But it's also not as depressing as D.Gray can be, so it's good for taking a load off. If you're finding the whole series for $30? Go for it.

This is precisely how I feel about it. Good fun but not necessarily good quality, though not terrible.

    D.Gray-Man is pretty overrated.

The animation was pretty weak in the fight scenes. But remember if a fight is relatively simple and mindless, without advanced tactics or strategy I'd prefer that it be movie quality and you're not gonna get that in most series. So I call it weak in comparison to a feature length production not the average televised program.

The characters also looked kinda tweaked. I'll say that about a lot of manga->anime adaptation but I think it was noticeable and a problem.

The manga was good enough for a while, but it really fell apart later on. Started feeling a bit Air Gear for me. Then the hiatus hit and it was over for me. Couldn't continue.

The anime is **** by comparison. Honestly. Watch the first episode, look at the beautiful animation and then be done.
The manga was consistently good until the switch to monthly, at which point it became... weird... like another writer was writing. The arc about Alma was great. It has since gone back to being blegh and is on yet another hiatus, and I have officially dropped it. If your health is so bad that you can't put out your own series on some regular basis, you need to either end it or give to someone else.
