At first I didn't like him because I thought he was too cold and kind of a dick, but I realized there wasn't anyone else like him in the game. He seemed really stricken by the war and the future more than anyone else. And his support conversations have shown he's a lot more than just a cold badass. So hell yeah.

Man, KHV, I haven't composed music in weeks because of having to send my PC to repair/Not feeling inspired and I'm now I'm incredibly rusty.

I have a few ideas in mind after listening to Yngwie's Malmsteen The Seventh Sign (The song, I haven't listened to the full album yet, just a few songs) riff by riff and Killswitch Engage but I don't know if I will be able to pull them together in one theme.

I guess the only way to know and get out of this artistic block is keep trying and trying until something good comes out of it.

But I did learn some new stuff about music composing so all isn't lost.

Too bad I am still a terrible composer (Yay lack of self-confidence!)

 

I didn't even know you composed :B Got a thread in the production section? I'd like to hear some of it.

I need to work on them (Mostly Plastic Night), but first I need to upgrade my PC because the sheer amount of guitars/instruments for those is killing my CPU.

I stopped updating/didn't post my original compositions because:

1) Nobody posted on that topic, so I kind of grew bored of updating the thing by myself alone.

2) I'm super paranoid of a random guest coming in and taking my work and claiming it as his/her's.

If you got Skype I could share some of my original themes with you, if you want to, that is.

Or maybe I could grow some faith for humanity and post some of my original compositions here, whatever happens first. Eh, I'm flexible.

Ooh, nice. I'm listening to Plastic Night right now, it's got some rough patches but it's definitely shaping up. I'd say pump up the reverb a bit on the orchestra, add some delay so that it lingers more. Unfortunately I'm not much help at deeper critiques, I've barely dabbled myself :'D. I'll keep listening to the others.

I see u. I worry about that sometimes with my writing, when I ever do any haha. And yeah, that section's pretty quiet. Not a lot of daily visitors. Maybe I should pop in to buff my post count hmmmm

Haha, yeah, I have dabbled a bit myself into writing, nothing serious, but I can see how it can get annoying when somebody steals your original creation you've been working so hard to shape up by yourself.

I got Borderlands 2 free a few days ago and started playing last night. I'm still kind of garbage at FPS, but it's really fun so far. Only at Level 6 and need to face BOMB DUDE, but the dialogue is pretty funny and SIREN POWERS SO GOOD.

 

Oops! Forgot to say, had my Privacy settings set so only people I followed could start Conversations with me (And I rarely update that, so yeah)

God, all this talk of video games makes me want to do a huge tourney-type thing with everyone here but that wouldn't really be possible and it'd be super complicated to schedule/set-up anyway.

But in the meantime, Audiosurf is a glorious piece of programming and I love it so MUUUUCH.
