I just like the Metal Gear Solid series in general. I haven't gotten to Rising yet.

I need to finish Parkouring in TRON:Evolution which is a riot.

    Me too.

And how is that game? I'm a huge Tron fan and have been debating playing it even though licensed

I will be honest. IT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING. I mean, you will be seeing the death screen a lot. The controls are clunky. Your character does not do the things you want him to do. I mean, you have a Parkour button. And a lot of your characters movements involve this button. To the point you have to wonder: 'What's wrong with stairs?'

You have infinite lives. So there is that. [ The game does count the number of times you are de-rezzed but as far as I'm aware you're not penalized for it. ]

I would not recommend the PC version because the camera will make you nauseated and one of my friends who has the PC version, the game glitched on her to the point that she cannot proceed.

However, the combat is not terrible. Light cycles are fun. Everything is shiny and most everyone has the appropriate voice actor with the expected exceptions. Micheal Sheen does not return as Zuse Castor but the replacement is not terrible. Jeff Bridges does not voice Flynn and Clu but the replacement does an exceptional job. The primary antagonist has two different voice actors( cut scenes vrs game play) which is a bit jarring at first but you get used to it. Bruce Boxleitner and Olivia Wilde do return to voice their respective characters.

Graphic wise. Everything is shiny and nice to look at. Faces could have used a bit more work but it's not bad for an early PS3 game.

You get to drive a tank at least twice. You get more experience if you run programs over as opposed to shooting them. That was fun.

If you're a die hard TRON fan I would recommend it. If you're a casual fan, you might be a bit lost when it comes to the storyline.

I've seen both movies quite a bit, love the OST to the second movie, and a little of the TV show. I wouldn't mind a vacation to the Grid.

I really liked Legacy. I haven't seen the first one or anything else and I'm not really interested. Just not my thing I guess.

I watched attack on Titan abridged

What I quoted was my reaction to the amount of pages this thread has.

Okay, I was super hyped for Tron: Legacy when it first was coming to theaters, even though I only sorta liked the original Tron. But after I saw it around the time of its released, the film to me was nothing more than "ok." Great spectacle and sound design and AMAZING costumes, but the characters and the plot and the writing were just sooooooooo basic to me. Like, Flynn couldn't be more generic protagonist, and the ISO thing's explanation felt so half-assed.

But that's just my opinion course.

I don't disagree. It's hard for me to watch that movie and not enjoy it simply on an aesthetic level, which to me that kinda seems to be the point. I mean, is Tron really supposed to be an intricately woven story with complex and nuanced characters, or is it supposed to be a fun adventure with a highly unique and stylized visual setting? I honestly don't know. To me it seems to be the latter, so the fact that Legacy had a basic story is not that huge a problem. Like you said, the visuals are astounding, and I think the story is a little better than you seem to think it is (just a little), so I mean... I think it's good. Kinda forget where I was going with this. But yeah. Not trying to say it's a five-star movie or anything, but a fun movie to watch sometimes. I liked the girl. I thought she was cool.

It's strange how having a good sleeping pattern can make you feel great.
Now I am a creature of the night (I think most of us here are), but I've been sleeping around midnight and waking up early for the few days now, and I haven't slept this good in a long while.

Eh, I admit that I never watched the original Tron until after KH2. Then I saw Legacy, which I thought had a mediocre plot but definitely had a world that was very interesting and cool... exceptwhynotronscreentimereallyatallimeanwhaddafruckhisnameisonthefriggentitle.

    That's quite attractive.
