It seems like a pretty fun game from the demo. I probably will, provided I have the money.​

 

I am updating my 3DS now...I didn't know there was a demo. I will have to play that today :3

 

It's funny that people are talking about Bravely Default.
I just happened to see it somewhere like a month or so ago and thought it looked cool and wanted to buy it but knowing absolutely nothing about it, not even that SE made it. So to see it being talked about like the next big thing is funny and makes me want to get it even more... but I probably won't be able to afford it so

 

Demo is it's own conclusive side story. Basically a free game

Honestly I don't think I've ever played any game 30 times so there's that :X

 

Bravely Default is love. I have a crush on the game. It is a bit like an old-school Final Fantasy with art that reminds me of Tactics and fun innovations in the mechanics. Also, everything is cute.

 

How much does it make you want to explore? Or is it linear?

 

It is hard to gauge from the demo, actually, but Jake may have a better answer. There does seem to be a bit of an exploring aspect but it would not be a JRPG if linearity was not present in some form. Right now there are just a few quests and the like. The dynamic customization comes more with the characters from what it feels like.

As long as it makes me want to explore every aspect of every town and environment, I'll call it an a+ level win.

 

I would say yes, if not simply for the storybook beauty of all the art and everything you can do in the towns so far.
The one thing I have heard is that the difficulty curve for bosses skyrockets or some such, but I have not reached the first demo boss yet. Jake has warned me, and the fact that I have (accidentally but thankfully manageable) chosen Hard mode means I will probably wipe a few billion times but such is the experience.

 

Pfff accidentally chose hard mode? XD GET READY TO GRIND

I want to buy Shin Megami Tensei IV for 3DS, but it's just so expensive. Is the included book really worth it?

Also, orange? Or gold? Really, I like both. They're very similar to the url color though. I think I'm leaning towards orange though.
