" Thank you." Lament said to Erif. " Well then I have to get to work." She stood up and headed outside.

 

"Sure, seeya" thorn said. He then turned to Erif. "So what are you doing here anyways?" he asked

 

"Telling a story"Erif said

 

"Wow, well doesn't that sound exciting" thorn said sarcasticly

 

"Told Lament that you were a TLO, and she meet Sara"Erif said

 

"Oh cmon man. You had to tell her about that? That really can ruin my image you know, if people knew that I was some dammed slave of the king at some point" thorn said

 

Erif laughed "I'm sure you'll ruin it anyway, and I told her because she needed to know"

 

"She didn't need to know THAT. I mean, it isn't like it mattered if she knew or not" he said

 

"Oh I have my reasons for telling"Erif said

 

Lament listned from the bottom of the stairway. Their voices echoed so it was easy for her to hear.

 

"Oh really? And what are those reasons? tell me, what is the purpose of you telling her that I used to be a slave to the friggen king" thorn asked

 

"to see your reaction, it was funny"Erif said laughing

 

Thorn's twin blades appeared in his hands. "Don't **** with me man. I'm serious when I say that I don't want people knowen about that" thorn said.

 

"relax, you worry to much"Erif said

 

"You give me a good reason to be worried. I'm warnen you, don't go tellin anyone, especially her, about anything that has to do with my past, got it"

 

"The past is not you"Erif said "Your no one else than the person your right now"Erif said irritated

 

"Exsactly, and that is why I dont want anyone to know it. If people knew what my past was, then I wouldn't even be able to show my face in town" thorn said.

 

Lament just sat there. " What in the world? Now I'm even more curious." She whispered to herself.

 

"I'm goin into town" thorn said as he started to storm down the stairs.
