The Lost Ones

Lament sat down next to Thorn. " I'm sorry." She said.

 

Blade walked away "damn it" he mummbled to himself

 

"Sorry for what?" thorn asked

 

" Well I had a feeling you weren't going to have fun, and I wouldn't be insulted if you wanted to leave." She said.

 

"Oh cmon, I'm having plenty of fun" thorn said, putting on a fake smile."Please, don't mind me, ok" thorn said.

 

" You don't have to lie. I'm serious. You wouldn't hurt me if you left. Not that I want you to leave or anything, but it's really ok." Lament said.

 

"And I am serious to. I want to stay" thorn said. In the backround, music began to be played by the orchestra there, as people began to step out onto the dance floor.

 

" Well ok, if you say so, but it won't hurt my feelings." Lament said to him as she watched the people as they started dancing.

 

"I know it won't, and I don't care if it does, because I wouldn't leave even if you wanted me to" thorn said stubbornly, staying put

 

Blade sat on a chair watching people dance

 

Lament smiled looking over at him.

 

"Excuse me ms.Lament, but may I ask you for a turn in dancing?" ren asked Lament as he approached her

 

Lament smiled at Ren and nodded. She slowly got up from her chair.

 

Kain made it through the door. You would'nt have guessed it by his entrance, but he was running like a madman to get to the party on time. He was wearing a black tuxedo blazer with his regular clothes, and he had a chain going down to his backpocket where his pocket watch was.

He looked around, trying not to seem weird in front of everyone else. He was slowly trying to loosen his tie and catch his breath, since he was tired from all the running.

"Well, looks like I missed the start of the party, but better late than never, after all."

 

"Well what do ya know" thorn said as he saw kain come in.

Ren took Lament over to the dance floor. He then bowed to her, being polite.

 

Lament curtsied smiling politely.

 

Kain looked over to see Thorn standing with Lament. His eye twitched and his hand suddenly curled into a tight fist.

"What the F*** is HE doing here?!?!?!"

 

"I know what your thinking Kain, but this is a party for peace and he is allowed in here since Lament invited him" Blade said to Kain

 

Ren then took Laments left hand, and put his right hand on her hip, and began to waltz with her.

Thorn's eye twitched, seeing the sight of kain. Kain and blade, two people who he honostly had the greatest dislike for, were standing there, and just for the hell of being able to respect Lament, he had to hold himself back from beating the crap out of them. The worst part was that he wanted to beat the **** out of Ren even more, and he didn't even know why

 

She put one hand on his shoulder while she held his other hand. She smiled as they danced.
