" I really don't know why." Lament said softly.

 

Kain put thew list in his backpocket and walked away. He went by the shack to pick up his crossbow and swung it over his shoulder. "Well, time to call it a day. I've done more than enough work for one day. Maaaan, this just isn't my thing."

He sat down on the bench he fixed and looked at the lake. "Well, at least this bench is working right...." He shut his eyes, and without realsingi t, he had fallen asleep.

 

Jeniffer looked at spike, and when she saw that he was asleep, she looked both ways, before she slowly began to walk out of her hiding place. She approached him, looking at his near by weapons.


"You could really get in trouble to. But I must admit, I respect you for having such confidence in yourself, as to try to help him" rahajaha said

 

" Thank you. I think." Lament said.

 

Serphan walked around looking at the forest city. "I wonder if the king knowssss where we are"he said to himself

 

"i don't get it" Blade said and jumped of a tree and looked at lament "why din't you kill him. He is the enemy" Blade said

"She is simply human. Can you blame her?" rahajaha asked

 

Lament knew she was in trouble now. " I..I'm sorry... it's just....." She trailed off.

 

"I need to know why didn't you kill him" Blade said

 

" Because I don't think he's really bad. I think we just need to give him a chance." Lament said almost in a whisper.

 

"whatever but what do you think about the king" Blade said

 

" What about the king?" Lament asked.

 

"he is making us fight the TLO but Thorn just mentioned something about the TLo becoming humans" Blade said

 

" I think he needs to find out what we just found out." Lament said.

 

"My my, this does seem interesting" rahajaha muttered.

 

"mayby the king knows already" Blade said

 

" So then he purposly makes us attack the TLO's knowing that their humans. Then we have to do something." Lament said.

 

Several minutes later, Kain woke up. He was too drowzy to get up, so he just layed down on the bench and looked at the sky for a while, enjoying the few moments of peace he had. He was so drowzy, he didn't notice Jessica nearby.

 

"we have to keep an eye out on the king. We could be wrong and its to early to judge" Blade said
