Lament chuckled and shifted over to work on his ankle. It was just as infected as his shoulder and she had just enough roots to be able to heal it. " There you go. All done. Those should feel a lot better in a couple hours. Sorry, it's kind of a long wait but all of my potions are gone." She said.

 

"I still could've done it on my own" he grumbled. "Well thanks.....I guess" thorn said stubbornly.

 

" Your welcome." She said standing up.

 

"Well then, I gots to get goin" thorn said, as he struggled to get up a little, not taking the time to heal, and started to limp away, in the direction that he was going before. "Seeya around"

 

At the forest city Erif was sleeping, a nurse had told Serphan that he would have to rest the next couple of days.

Serphan walked out of the hospital. "Ssso the leader isss in no ssstate of fighting, we'll need to be exsssrta care full then."he said to himself

 

" Well hold on a minute. The herbs wont work if you don't rest. It will just make the wound worse." Lament said.

 

"Ya right, I doubt..." thorn started to say, but then he felt pain in both area's where he was wounded. "Fine" he grumbled as he sat back down. He felt absolutely helpless, which was the worse feeling in the world.

 

Lament chuckled and sat down next to him. " Sorry." She said.

 

Thorn sighed. "So, why are ya helpen me out?" thorn asked.

 

Lament shrugged. " I don't know." She said.

 

"Won't you get introuble for wasting your time with me?" thorn asked.

 

" So what if I do. They can't keep me from helping them and if they want to kill me then they can go ahead and do it." Lament said.

 

"You definatly are strange" thorn said.

Jessica sighed. Why did that stupid old fart have to make me go and do this jessica thought as she observed kain, hidden. She was sent to spy on the armies best, so that way they would know exsactly what they were up against.

 

Kain was still in Water City. He was trying to spend the last couple of days trying to salvage what he can to try and rebuild the city. Wiping the sweat off his forehead with his sleeve, he sat down on a ledge to take a breather.

"Well, this is going to take a long while, but if I stay focused and go on without too many interactions, I can have this place close enough to it's old self in no time."

He looked around some more. Seeing his old town like this kinda made him depressed. "I did the right thing by leaving them, didn't I? I mean, what would the difference have been if i stayed? I could'nt even save Earth City. I'm better off when I'm gone to do my own thing...."

 

Jessica sighed silently, as suddenly, she felt something on her back. SHe looked behind, and she completely froze, as she saw a spider on her back. She tried to stay quiet, as her eyes widend. It was not long, before a loud scream could be heard, and jessica was running around in her hiding spot, trying to get the spider off.

 

Lament chuckled. " I guess you could say that." She said.

 

"So how long does this stuff take to heal, because I really have to get somewhere" thorn said

 

" It should be done in a couple minutes. Why are you in such a hurry?" Lament asked.

 

"Wouldn't you be concerned about human beings who just lost their city, plus, have been freed from years of torture?" thorn asked lament
