Lament noticed Thorn a little ways off. She could see that he was in pain, but she really didn't feel like talking with anyone, so she slipped behind a tree and tried to make her way around him.

 

"your girlfriend is here" the kid said

 

"Eh, not like it matters" thorn said as he took the ball of ice and put it on his ankle. "And I'm actually shocked. The way that blaise was acting, I thought that you guys might be abandoning me or somethen" thorn said.

 

Lament listen to them as she walked silently.

 

"most of us don't trust you anymore, Me and Jessica is the only one who still believe that you won't commit treason"the kid said

 

"Eh, no wonder. It's not like I'm gonna tell them anything, but it is like I have said before, I only help you guys out, I never really want to consider myself as a part of your group" thorn said. "Well, I guess that I am just gonna end up staying at my place full time now."

 

She walked along untill their voices slowly faded. Once she couldn't hear them anymore she sat down under a tree, pulling her knees up to her chin and just stared at the other trees in front of her.

 

"Don't think so, Erif is going to declare war with the king. destroying the city and saving the people inn it was just to get his attention. We're gonna need you"the kid said

 

"Tgh. I might help, I might not. All depends on how I feel." thorn said. "Of course, if I do help, then I will help in my own way. I aint taken orders from Erif"

"you know he wont be able to walk after an attack like that. he have four hours before he passes out"the kid said

everywhere it was burning. but trough the burning city you could see a man walking. the flames did him no harm

 

Blade walked up to Lament and behind him were the people that managed to get out of the village

 

Lament hadn't heard Blade comming so when she saw him out of the corner of her eye, she jumped up in surprise. " Oh it's just you." She said letting out the breath that she had been holding. " Who are they?" She asked refering to the people behind him.

 

"Heh, true." thorn said with a grin on his face. "Well then, I think I am gonna get goin" thorn said as he began to use to tree so that way he could get back onto his feet.

Amongst the people, was an old man. "My name is Rahjaha" he said to Lament.

"people that survived the fireball" Blade said

 

Erif stood before the king, "hello king. My name is Erif Hope. I was the first to be transformed back from a TLO to a human by Zorgan. I have saved the people of this city from your tyranny, and i declare war on you and your army of TLO's"Erif said

 

" There were survivors?" " And who might you be?" Lament asked Rahjaha.

 

"actually all of them survived" a kids voice said to Lament

"how dare you"the king said "to say that I, the king control the TLO's. its you and your scum who has the real control."

 

Thorn then began to walk away.

"I am a survivor" he said, as he sipped a nice cup of tea.

 

Lament nodded her head. Why are they all here? And how did they survive?
