The Lost Ones

Jade began firing wind blasts at the fireball, but it did nothing to help stop it. She began to panic, watching Erif control the fireball. Turning to Lament, she noted her own look of horror. "If we attack Erif, the fireball may smolder or explode... I don't know what to do..."

 

"Idiot" thorn said, refering to Erif, as he continued to Limp away. He was getting closer to the edge, near the forest.

 

"he he"Erif said as the fireball slowly began to lover itself towards the city

 

" Jade can you use water spells?" Lament asked.

 

"why are you still here"Erif shouted "RUN"he said to them

 

Jade gasped at Lament's request, looking at her hopefully. "No, but I can use fire..."
Looking up at the fireball as it began to descend, she rose her arms, pulling it away from them city. It was hard to control, seeing as she didn't conjure it, but it was working...

 

Kain ran to Erif and pulled a bandage off his arm. He raised his arm and water started to build up around him. He was rushing to build up the water, so the air around him was getting damp. After a ehile the water ball became big enough to douse the fire. Then, he waved his arms and sent a huge stream of water at the fire ball. He fell to his knees, trying to keep the water in form.

 

Lament also used a water spell and sent it at the fireball. She made it bigger and bigger trying to help Kain and Jade.

 

Jade recognized what Kain was trying to accomplish, and she forced the fireball towards the water sphere.

 

Blade just watched

 

"If you want to die"Erif said he took control of the fireball and sent it faster down towards the ground, he even made it bigger

 

The blue light coming from the markings on Kain's arm was fading, but he tried to maintain the water. The air around him was getting so damp that it was getting hard to breathe, but he still kept trying to maintain it. "Just a little more. It's almost out. I just got to hold my ground for little longer......"

When Erif made it bigger, the light on his arm was shining brighter. More and more water was being formed until the fireball was nearly drowned in it.

 

" C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!!!" Lament yelled sending the water at the fireball.

 

"To late 'Inferno of the broken mask'"Erif shouted as everything in the city cough on fire

 

"Those idiots don't realize that they can't stop it, do they. His ability allows him to keep that thing going, and the water isn't going to get rid of it, no matter how much they use"

 

Kain got up one one knee, picked up his crossbow with his free hand and shot Erif in the stomach and arm.

 

Erif smiled "escape while you can"Erif said everything is gone in 20 seconds

 

" Please work, please." Lament whispered.

 

Sweat began to drop down Jade's face as she struggled to contain the fire. As it moved to grow bigger, she clenched her fist, making it grow smaller then what it had been originally. Exasperated and exhausted, she still moved her arms in a circle to put the fire out. She noticed Kain growing weak, and she did her best as the water from both Kain and Lament began to douse it.

"No!" JAde screeched, as the city caught on fire. Furious and raging, she sent a blast of hot wind towards Erif, hot enough to melt steel.

 

Erif gave the fireball even more energy it was bigger than the city now "15 seconds"
