I squeal every time I see the trailers. I will see, I will keep the Ticket and I will take the 3D glasses.

Oh, great, another movie that proves that the ****ing 3D trend won't die for at least another several years. First Star Wars, now this. **** 3D. It doesn't add anything to the experience and looks god awful when they convert a 2D movie to 3D, which is the case for Star Wars and The Lion King.

    BRING IT. -wiggles-

I was 5 when the movie first came out in theaters, heck the theater I saw it at isn't even around anymore. I missed it when it was re-released in Imax several years ago but bought the DVD in '03. Actually was the jump-off point for me as an artists, drawing Simba and the gang was how I learned to draw and eventually become an animal artist. I even tossed around the idea of animating for Disney before I wound up where I am now.

I plan on going to see it, I don't mind if it's 3D, just the thrill of seeing that opening sunrise on the big screen once more is fueling my desire to go. That, and can you imagine how the stampede scene might be in 3D?

Oh god my body is not ready.
Especially Mufasa death in 3D hnnnnng

Other than that, I'm actually okay with Lion King getting 3D.
The plot is great, the animation was beautiful; as long as they don't get overly flashy with the 3D, it should turn out great.

I love The Lion King. Just the music makes me reminisce about the good old days of the VCR. I got it on a VHS tape in '03 as we didn't use DVD players until about a year later.

I'm gonna love singing along in the theater like a child, plus the fight at the end will look gorgeous in 3D.

I'm not a big of fan of 3D really, but like you said just getting to see it on the big screen(a first for me cause I was 1 when it came out) will be freakin awesome. I can't imagine they'll be overly flashy with the 3D, they should know just putting it in theaters is enough to drive people to the movies. Also the music is going to be wicked in a theater, especially since they've upgraded the quality.

Ahh, I remember when I first got the Lion King, I watched it almost every night when I was little. Think I went through a few copies of the VHS, but I still have one that works!

I will be going to see this. I will be crying all the way through. I do like 3D, I think it can add to the movie if it's the right sort of film but other films it's just not really that noticable (e.g. It added a great deal to Avatar but to something like Harry Potter it did very little).

I just want to go see it on the big screen mostly and to experience my absolute favourite film of all in 3D on a huge screen will be amazing, I'm extremely excited for this.

hmm... I personally don't see why such matters are necessary... The movie is the same. It's pretty much just a method of getting more money way after the original release was made. But i must admit, i do like Lion King, but i don't mind watching it in 2D.

I can not wait for this movie to come out <3 Lion King is one of my favorite Disney movies so I know that I can not wait for this to come out.

I don't really like 3D that much only because I wear glasses and putting the 3D glasses over it is really hard and annoying xD

Seeing as this is the most popular Disney movie it should be considered a must see. Loved it when I was 2. Will love it when I'm 19.

I want to know if this is gonig to be released in England, I assumed it was but I don't see it anywhere on the cinema listings for 'Coming Soon' however, I'm sure no matter what the Blu-Ray will still release over here which I will get.

Lion King is a good movie. I don't know how I feel about it coming back in 3D though. Disney tends to do these kind of things a lot.

I can see this kind of being a thing now -_- every Disney movie (the best of them anyway) will be coming back out for "a short time only" in 3D. Of course anyone and everyone who is a die-hard Disney fan will watch them raking in the cash for Disney. Well . . . I must say I too would really like to see it :cryinganime: I even downloaded the original soundtrack to The Lion King after I watched the commercial. Hakuna Matata is still my fav ^_^

I'm going to go see it on Friday. I'm so excited I could cry. I mean, I don't really like the whole excessive 3D thing, but jeeze. Ironically enough, the Lion King was the first movie I EVER saw in theaters. :'D So this'll be all nostalgiac and crap. Especially now that I'm eighteen and my childhood is over--*shot*

    *flails*

This was the first movie I saw, both overall and in a movie theater 8DD

Now I need to convince my uncle and aunt to let me take my cousins to see it...
