Kira grinned, watching him fall, then stabbed his male companion. "I guess you two are just two more stones in the river." she remarked, wiping the blood on their shirts. "I'm going to make soemthing explode." she said, her eyes dancing.

She grinned, then pointed with her fingers, lightning exploding from them. She winced as it burned her fingers, then flew to a flour factory. The whole factory seemed to expande, and Kira had time to take one breath before pushing Gex down.

 

Gex hit his head hard from kira's tackle. He had absolutely no idea what was going on.

 

The building exploded over them, melted concrete and metal flying over them. Kira gently touched a gash on her cheek, then grinned, despite the pain. "That was bigger then I thought."

 

Gex traced a thumb over her wound

"you need to get that checked out."

 

She shook her head, still smiling. "It'll be fine. These hurt worse, and they'll be fine." she showed him her blackened fingertips, wincing slightly. "I use my other hand for sword work anyway. And look." she gestured with her hand. "Destruction."

 

Gex looked into her eyes. He completely ignored the chaos

"beautiful."

 

She blushed slightly, unusual for her, then touched her cheek against, pulling her left hand away to find blood. "Such an boring liquid." she murmured, examining it. Anything to try and figure out what Gex meant.

 

"it is rather facinating when you think about it.

 

She couldn't help but laugh at his comment, then put her fingers in her mouth thoughtfully, tasting the metallic like substance.

 

He stared up at her, taking in the blood she lost. Even such a small amount was facinating when she did it. he couldn't even take his eyes of her. Sitting up, putting his hands behind him to support his weight, Gex readied for the next move.

"Want to kill some more?"

 

She nodded, grinning. Picking up her sword, she gestured. "Your turn. Let's see if you can beat that!" she pointed at the crater.

 

"Well, I can't make a bigger one, but I can make a more creative one."

Eyeing up a man who was in flight, Gex rushed him, preparing for his attack.

"Hey buddy!"

He grabbed the poor soul by his shoulder. Turning him around, he smiled his smile and balled up his fist.

"Where ya goin?"

Before the man could even wimper, Gex punched him in the chest and sent his skeleton flying away from his blood and guts. The jettisoned frame traveled faster and faster until it hit another civilian. The force sent her skeleton flying and repeated the process. Soon, like a row of dominos, there was a line of carnage where the meat was ripped of the bones and the flesh was like jelly.

"Well well. I think I earned a point in this game of oneupmanship don't you agree?"

 

Kira nodded, her eyes bright. "Impressive......." someone grabbed her from behind, a man. She could just tell, because a girl wouldn't have gotten that close to her. "You're under arrest." a voice entoned. She rolled her eyes, then whirled and punched him, wincing as her blackened fingers connected.

 

Soley on impulse, Gex pulled out his bone stake and stabbed the man through his heart

"you ok?"

 

She nodded, flexing her fingers. "I haven't used magic in too long, I guess." She frowned slightly, then smiled. "Now what?"

 

Unable to control himself, Gex smiled up at her.

"That is really up to you Kira."

She was a strange one, almost as strange as him. That was what he liked about her.

 

Kira considered several options, looking around at the area. "I don't think there's much more fun to be had here. Let's find some place new." she said with a grin, running into an alley.
