The skeleton "a hero from long ago" The skeleton said and backed away "you may be destined to help save the world but right now you do not posses enough skill" the skeleton said

 

Daine sat up, keeping her eyes on the skeleton. "Key words: MAY be. I'm not the hero type. Sure I want to be... more than anything. But you're right, I don't have the skill. So just let me go back so I can go home and be a normal reject."

 

"the reason I brought you here was to train you to be able to use your magic" The skeleton said as a portal opened behind her "that will take you back" The skeleton said

 

Daine gasped softly. She looked back and forth from the skeleton to the portal. Should she stay and learn to use her magic or go back and just cause trouble? She looked at her bow and remembered what Ganondorf had said. If he was that intimidated by uncontroled magic, just think of what you could do if you learned to control it. She thought to herself. Daine stood and looked at the skeleton. "Alright, fine. Train me."

 

the portal closed "now lets start from the basics. Try forming your magic into a ball like this" The skeleton said as he made a ball of light appeared

 

Daine immitated the skeleton's posture after placing her bow over her shoulder. She focused on her magic and tried to form a ball. The most she got was a misshapen blob of magic in her palm.

 

"good start. Try concentrating more. Concentrate on the the magic flowing through your body and releasing it into the ball

 

Daine shut her eyes, calming her breathing. The ball of magic took a more solid form until it was a cirlce. Daine opened her eyes and smiled when she saw she'd done it.

 

"good you learn quick. Now throw it at me" he said

 

OOC:I was too busy on my homework yesterday,did the fight with Ganondorf end AM I TOO LATE?!?!?!

 

"Throw it at you?!" Daine asked. She knew she shouldn't doubt a teacher's intructions so she threw the ball of magic at the skeleton as hard as she could.

OOC: brb dinner

 

OOC: yea for now, Daine is learning how to use magic from the hidden skills guy

BIC: the skeleton got knocked down "good. Knowing how to use the magic will serve you well" the skeleton said getting up

 

"A-are you okay?" Daine asked, feeling bad that she'd knocked down her teacher.

 

"i am alright. Tell me from that attack how do you feel. Are you tired" he said

 

Daine shook her head. Unlike her others, that had not made her light headed or her vision blur. "I'm fine..."

 

"good you see it seems you have gotten a bit uses to using the magic. You need to concentrate more when you use it. Using it wildly will make you powerless and vunerable" he said "now its time to see if you can focus your magic into the arrows" he said

 

Daine knew he was right. Using her magic in pure blasts had taken its toll. Now that she was controling how much she was using, she seemed to be able to keep the side effects under control as well. She took her bow off her shoulder and knotched an arrow.

 

'now fire it at me" the skeleton said ash he raised his shield

 

Daine shot the arrow, without putting any magic into it, at the skeleton's sheild.

 

THe skeleton blocked it with ease "you need to put magic into it" he said
