The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon

Ok, me and my best friend Carlos want to get this game, he already knows everything about it too which is weird because he hasn't played it...Anyways, I'm not all that sure if I get it because of 2 things

1.) I don't want it to be like the rest of the games to have kind of sucky graphics
2.) I don't want the game play to be too compacated

So my question is this...

Anyone who has played the game or owns it, should I get the game or no? Is it good or no? Would I be getting my money's worth?

 

Well I thought it was an awesome Spyro game cause you could fly for the first time.
Graphics aren't jaw-dropping, but they don't suck. But it's all about your personal opinion on graphics.

 

Alright, any other opinions?

 

In all honesty I was majorly put off Spyro once Sierra took over x: they majorly ****ed the series over.

That being said, I kind of want to play it too, the graphics look pretty good IMO and the plot looks cute. I have no idea how easy it is to play since I don't have it.

I would say get it, you wont know unless you play it and if you really take a disliking to it you can always sell it on.

 

I JUST PLAYED IT TODAY!!!! My friend that I was just talking about got it yesterday and he brought it over today and I gotta say it's sick! Even for the PS2 the graphics were awesome to me....I wonder what the Xbox360 is going to look like... THe gameplay is pretty cool too and the story line is also... The problem is my friend wouldn't let me barrow it for the night so I just barrowed the second game to the legend series (Legend Of Spyro: Enternal Night) so yeah now i think I'll be getting my money's worth lol

 

I have spyro dotd
the gameplay is good-excellent depending on platform
the cutscenes good-excellent
difficulty easy-medium-hard, depending on the puzzle, and the level, etc...
plot excellent
a great game
but i finished it too quickly, in 2 weeks. I got stuck on two levels for at least a day, but apart from that it was great and amazing plot


100% complete and all galleries unlocked etc

 

I got it and love it. But maybe you should rent it first to see if you really want it.
