Kai sat in a comfortable chair and let out another sneeze. "Wow, I know now I'm getting a cold."

 

The bartender brought the tea to the group.

"Drink some of this, Kai." Michael said "It will make you feel better. It is kind of bitter though."

 

"Thanks, Michael." Kai started to drink some of the tea. "Oh, this is wonderful." She set her cup down and looked at the ring on her finger.

 

OOC:*sighs*More chores...........................and she's gone...........

 

OOC: Sorry.

BIC:
"Strange, most people find Sarisa's tea to be too bitter. Probably because of the medicine."

 

"Michael. Why did you have me your mother's ring that night?"

 

Michael began blushing. "I just thought it would look good on you, that's all......"

"You're lying, boy. I can tell."

"Shut up, dragon. Now's not a good time to torment me."

 

Kai remembered the night so well, and she began to blush. "I just wanted to know.... I'm going to bed. Night!"

 

OOC: So, does this mean you are logging off?

BIC: "Good Night."

 

OCC: Not really. Kai's just nervous, and feels tired.

BIC: Kai entered her room, she sighed. Her attention was back to the ring. "Oh, Michael, I'm just a weak human. I could never feelings for you. What am I thinking?" She laid down on her bed.

 

OOC: In that case, I will be back in about 15 minutes. Have to head home from work.

BIC:
"Why can't you just admit that you love her?"

"I just don't know if she feels the same about me....."

"Idiot! You will never know if you don't ask...."

 

Kai sat on her bed. 'I love Michael, but what if he doesn't love me? He would never love a human.'

 

OOC: Ok, I'm back now.

BIC:
Michael sighed as he walked outside.

He sat on the ground and played his flute.

"She could never love a halfling like me...."

 

Kai walked to her window and opened it. She saw Michael play his flute. She smiled and sang with the melody.

 

Michael thought he heard Kai singing, but continued playing.

The snow stopped falling, letting the moon shine down on the village.

"Such a sweet voice..." he thought.

 

'This place looks so beautiful,' Kai thought. She continued to sing with the melody of Michael's tone.

 

Michael finished the melody and sighed.

He looked to one side of the village and saw some white flowers.

"Snowdrift lilacs...."

He stood up and went to pick the flowers.

 

Kai closed her window and laid down her bed again. 'Michael.... I love you....' Then she fell asleep.

 

Michael laid the flowers in front of Kai's door. He plucked one of his feathers and laid them on top of the bundle of flowers.

Michael yawned and went to his room to sleep.

 

Kai woke up because she felt like she couldn't sleep. She opened her door and found a bundle of flowers with a feather upon them. She picked them up and looked around, then smiled and closed her door.
