The Legend of Dragoon

Michael heard the cries of pain and anguish of the tormented souls in the recesses of his mind. The pain was unberable.

He fell to his knees, clenching his head in agonizing pain and screamed.

"Stop....Get out of my mind...."

 

"What's wrong!?" he asked, worried and following her.

 

Sophia kept run until she got to a lake, quickly she dived inot it's dark waters and swam far below the surface.

 

"Sophia!" he called, jumping in as well.

 

"Quick, Michael! You must get rid of the orb!"

Michael barely had the strength to maintain his sanity. He struggled to grab the orb of orcrist and threw it against the wall.

It didn't break, but at least he stopped hearing the voices of the dead.

"My god...such pain and agony....from a war that never should have happened..."

He was breathing heavily as he tried to stand up.

 

Sophia swam deeper, the water started to freeze at a fast rate.

 

He followed her. He needed to know what was wrong. Maybe he could help. He felt the water get colder, but he continued on.

 

In sophia's mind:

why did you do it?........................................why?........

but it wasn't, it wasn't.......................................................why?

Michael collapsed on the floor, horrified by what he heard. Kai tried to comfort him, but Michael pushed her away.

"Go away! Leave me alone!" He broke out into tears "Just leave me alone, okay!"

He sat there, sobbing, trying to get the voices out of his head.

 

Cliff had to breathe, but he just continued on. Soon, he passed out from lack of oxygen.

 

Sophia!

Sophia opens her eyes still shining blue, she swam with amazing speed with the water helping her she grabbed Cliff and they smashed through the ice layer which was had formed on the water. "Clif..." She collasped with exhaustion.

 

Cliff wasn't breathing.

 

OOC: Sophia can't help you there she is out cold next to cliff, at the moment only kai, michael, the wingly guy that i can't remember his name and the angel.

 

OOC: And they're all offline. T_T

 

OOC: well it's your funeral, LOL

 

OOC: Not mine, Cliff's.

 

OOC: same thing, well almost.

 

OOC: I never went offline, just got busy at work. Hopefully will get to leave soon. But at the moment, my character is too grief-stricken to do anything....

BIC:

"Come on, snap out of it. It's not that big of a deal."

"What the hell do you know?! When you have heard those souls cry out for mercy and praying to be released from their torment, then try telling me it's no big deal! Most of those souls were my own people that had been slaughtered!"

"I know that, but sitting there, crying like a little baby isn't going to do anything. You have to get on your feet."

BIC: a old looking man passed Cliff and Sophia "what happened here?" He smiled and pulled out a strange looking bottle, he pulled out the cork stopped and poured two drops down Cliff's throat, "strong stuff this is." he chuckled as he waited for cliff to awaken.
